NGL, this was impressive. And it would have been a very fun video to watch, except the few cringe parts where he just lost his s*** over getting hit or making a mistake. Like those plasma bats he could have just went into where the screen had them. A few of those mistakes could have been avoided, not that I could have done any better on a one run, but to blame the game every time and call this game Trash and garbage and dog s*** every time you get hit is a b**** move. Js this game was made in what year 2000? The camera and designs and targeting might not be exactly perfect, but this is overall an awesome, unique, dark Legendary Classic of a game! In my opinion it's much better than the other DMC games for atmosphere and characters, gameplay, and story being not too cheesy but just epic enough. It's my favorite Devil May Cry game and I don't think anybody here could design a better game.

You're partially wrong about devs not expecting games to be played at a high level. Plenty of devs know and expect their games to be played like that. The thing is, even when expecting it, there's no way for a company and a small group of playtesters to catch every possible exploit or trick that will be discovered by the masses over years of effort. It's actually just impossible to account for everything. Games like Devil May Cry were 100% expected to have players push themselves and the game, hence the style points, score system and mission timer. With that being said, yea the RNG in secret missions is absolutely bullshit lol. Keep up the grind bro! ❤

Dude everyone agrees the Elden Ring attacks with the extra delay (of which there's a LOT) are only there to catch people out on their visual instincts, these kinds of attacks were much more rare in the earlier souls games.

To be fair just as higher framerate will bring good things you can take advantage of it can also bring disadvantages, I wouldn't call a game broken or blame it's individual mechanics for something that's well known to cause issues with games in general
About what you say on M7 DMD, I actually got the SB. I did it back in 2009, so the only proof I got is a photo of the completion screen xD, as for every SB of my runs. As you say, the only way to SB it is to get the time and orbs requirements, and to have luck with the secret mission. If you are within the time and orbs requirements, the secret mission should be able to counter the dmg you take from the item. It also wasn't a lenient run, because I still remember I had to do M22 and 23 No Dmg, while on subsequent runs where I got the leniency, I was able to get the SB even if I took like a hit or 2 from Mundus. EDIT: Forgot to add I did it on the PAL PS2 version. Don't know if it makes a difference.
