The operatic theatricality displayed by Amira is fantastic, with gracefulness, expressionism and high fluidity of gesture. Her physical posture is impeccable and efficient. Amira gave a show of mastery, vocal agility, range, rhythm, focus, emotiveness, and beauty. It is because of such performances that Amira possesses legendary stature early on. Surely there is already a spot reserved on the Walk of Fame for Amira's star.

Amira may be the best soprano in the world. I was shocked to hear Alma sing so well too! -while playing the piano! Where did Alma get such vocal ability? This is the first anyone knew. One wouldn't know that they weren't both singing on the same level! Double WoW!
There is a video somewhere of Alma singing a bit of "Queen of the Night" at 3 years old. I guess if you're prodigiously musically talented like Alma, singing is just one more way to convey that music, even if your vocal quality can't approach Amira's! Emily Bear also surprised some people with her decent singing voice.

It's not that she is a genius, That is more than obvious. Child genius comes and goes and I have seen a hundred of them standing on stage playing great music and then you never hear of them again. This little girl is miles above them and out in front, she embraces it and lives it fully and completely, she loves what she does and does what she loves. You can see it in every part of her being. This one is going to set the classical music world on its edge. Dust off the mantle of great composers and make room, there is a new one on the horizon.

Five years ago yesterday! It’s wonderful that both Amira and Alma are continuing to grow in their gifts and produce beautiful music! This past week, Alma has been on the stage acting in Vienna, and Amira’s first solo concert is being streamed as an e-concert. It will be fascinating to see where they are in another five years. My very best wishes to them both and their families, as well as to all families affected by SUDC.
Alma has been studying conducting in Vienna while she polishes her next opera. Next month [November 2022] she will conduct her CINDERELLA opera in San Jose, California, on the San Francisco peninsula. Tickets are available.

Her opera, Cinderella, just had its American debut with the San Jose Opera for 7 sold out performances and its European debut in Vienna in December, 2016 for 2 sold out performances. Recently, when Cinderella fell ill in Salzburg suddenly with no understudy available, Alma played the role in German with three hours notice.

I watch this video, and tears begin to well up and softly drizzle down my cheeks as I sense very strongly that there MUST be a God in heaven that creates all this, and empowers angels like these two to give us all hope and not give up. Just perfect........thank-you
Denny Law wonderful as these girls may be, it would have been pleasant if that God of yours would have devoted some of his precious time on sorting out Syria and Sudan, just to name a few.
That outrageous ego of yours pre-assumes I or we, don't think about those issues every day of our lives. I too wonder and waver in my belief seeing such universal unfairness and pain and suffering at every turn in a life that seems pitifully insignificant much of the time.
It does make sense if we see this as simply a school room to learn and our real life is in heaven and we are really spiritual beings clothed in flesh and blood so the pain here means next to nothing. I sure don't have all the answers to this oddity we call life.

Elsewhere on this medium where all expressions are welcome, even those of the moronic who would have us believe that if there is but one evil anywhere we must give attention to it to the exclusion of all else, Alma stated that she prefers to create beautiful melodies even though most modern composers think the chaos in the world makes them irrelevant. (As if there was no evil in the world during Mozart's 1700's...slavery, anyone?) Denny, I am so glad that you and I can juggle two thoughts simultaneously...as most people can.
