The ai crossover is probably the last type of crossover you wanna do. Its insanely difficult and you have to be quick to do it successfully nowadays. You're gonna get ripped if you don't set it up. That being said, you master it you'll be a danger whenever you touch the ball
Love love love these move breakdowns. It’s great to see you demonstrate 5 or 10 different techniques within a single video, but these single move breakdown videos are more valuable for someone trying to learn these moves than the move compilation videos are. Those are great too!… but I’d love to see more breakdowns like this. Thanks!
Yeah I’m quite certain 5x NBA MVP, 6x Finals MVP, and 6x NBA Champion Michael Jordan is having nightmares about getting crossed up once by Allen Iverson🙄
He can't palm a ball mid dribble. That is why he is carrying the ball. In game, with speed, you can perform the move easily and if you have a long wingspan, this move will never fail.
MJ got crossed over once ..everybody get's beaten by a move from time to time..I can guarantee that if MJ and AI had met more than 13 times, MJ would have given nightmares to AI !!
AI doesn’t carry. Have no idea why it was illegal. He doesn’t cup the ball. It’s like momentum of the ball sits on his fingers palm faced down. Wanna see it back haha
@@Thegoat-bn6gh it's not lol. The hand didn't go under the ball at full speed. If u expect him to pause himself in real time and tell u the how to do the move then why don't u go to the future or smth cuz that's impossible
Nooo. Not close. We invented this. Its just the stop. n. Go. But sideways. Learn how to run, or make stops and launches off the corner of ur pushin foot. Not toes, not bottom of the feet. Use the side of the foot when the corner meet the bottom. U can spin , change direction faster. The foot u drag on the side is where u ger ur launch from when it leans. The ball is a illusion. Catch it coming up and put it high or wide as u want. U gotta launch off a side of ur foot after the weight turns. This video is how u think u imitated a basic move
To make this move, you have to set up close, very close to the defender and he squears foot to you. Then instead of 2 steps like this first step has to be an explosive push step. Your body has to move out and about to pass the defender side and that forces him to react. Then second step you stomp to push your body back. It's not a two step shift body, it is two push steps to push your body to actually move. The most important is set up close to the defender and the defender has to set a square foot and you have to move your body like you are going to blow by not just shift your balance. When you are done all this quick it looks like just 12 steps and shift balance but the push step and actual move of body force defender to react.
@@kyoza1911 The issue I have with the tutorial of the ai crossover is that the guy teaching it in the video doesn't have the hip flexibility to fully commit his entire body to a side before crossing over to another side. Iverson could take a giant step into one direction fluently and smooth. Most trainers who try to teach it look stiff doing it because they don't have long arms, hip flexibility, and ankle strength. You would have to work on your hips to get that bodily mechanic and range of motion of the Iverson, Marbury, and Francis era.
@@kyoza1911To be effective with the Iverson crossover the way the trainer is demonstrating it, you must focus on explosive quickness with not as much movement as AI. I was effective with the crossover that way, but sometimes it can be defended easier when you're focused on just straight speed and quickness rather than a change of pace like Iverson.
Wtf are yall tlkn abt..... it's a fliud motion... tht u can add different things to it...yall getting way to deep into a crossover.... damn what u do .....ur reacting and making ur defender react....then u go into ur bag.... simple....all tht leg drop and all tht bullshit... stop....u learn all of those things playing in hood parks.... backyards ....and u keep practicing....but u never make simple shit to complicated....

@@combatbeatdown carry if you're a big man and too slow to execute.
@POLO_ROLO that shit was slow but one of the first of his kind. The game has evolved its so much faster so much tighter now
Notice the back knee bend/drop to the floor, and off hand come across the the body a little. That's what sells it.
I learned it in about 2 years and now im unstoppabl!
A timeless move.

The thing that made that crossover the best is because if you try to anticipate it, he can keep it in his left hand and go to the left

Have to drag the foot on your ankle and extend out the cross a lil more wider
Just be careful of that palm. Under the ball is a carry.
Imagine guarding him ☠️
I just cross and go between the legs after so the ball don't get ripped.
Mj did defend it well. He recovered and almost blocked it. A.I. himself made a big deal about it.
Most important step: auuhhh
BTW I'm just kidding I love ur vids
Lesson #1 be A.I.
Thus endeth the lesson.
You carried the ball tho
Jordan still has nightmares about that move! 😂

This is a do or die move. If you don’t execute it perfectly your gonna get stripped by most decent defenders

Bro quit tryna get me benched
That move will either have you get stripped or you will be called for a carry if the ref is smart.
its not a carry and it works if you condition your defender with hesis and blowbys
people forget u need rhythm to it
Carrie Carrie😮 oh my God he got caught lacking stop carrying
Learn by me

U r teaching how to travel and carry but not how to make a crossover)) especially like Mr Answer did that))) 🤦🏻♂️
Looks like a carry
Was AI cross a carry ?
No his hand never went under the ball stayed on the side
A lot of players that played against Allen Iverson said it was, such as Steve Kerr. Refs didn’t call it back then so it should be good.
