Best thing about the Met is that you find something new every time you go. Love that museum
WOW! You picked some of my favorites! Temple of Dendur -is a great "mid-point" as you can sit on the stone ( with kids) and take a break near the small pool as the sun fills the room! Great video!
Can't wait to go back to New York!
Excellent video, Tour Guy. I love Picasso's portrait of "Gertrude Stein", Caravaggio's "The Musicians" and the Indian statue of "Celestial Dancer". Not crazy about Carpeaux's "Ugolino", not because it isn't a great work of art but because the subject matter is too depressing.
Thanks for sharing!
very good
Thanx
I love NY Austin tx.
I LOVE NY
u obv don’t live here
I’m so happy I got to go for free
Madam X - make sure I see it Everytime
What's the best day/time to visit if you want it to be a bit quieter so you can spend time really taking everything in?
You’ll get less crowds and school groups in the hours between lunch and dinner.
@@TheTourGuyVids Thanks!
Venus and the LOOT player.
Somehow most of those highlights are the ones I definitely will skip
But thanks for the heads up
Well it’s a big museum. Enjoy
Mega Chan, please list your favourite artworks at the Met so we can pick them apart 😆. Criticising is easy.
@@grantlink8384 i think the difference is mostly do you like art history or history. After going to the Met, I can see why he chose those pieces. But I beg to differ. Maybe Ill put up a video on my other channel when i finish editing. :D
The best museum I've been to is probably the British Museum in London. My favourite wasn't the piece per say but rather the way they displayed the mughal architecture and history in that exhibition.
My other channel is: MegaStories. If you are interested. Prob will upload in november or so. Too much backlog.
Beats wasting time & money setting around watching g foxnews all day long.
Austin tx.
You have no depth of understanding.....ex, the sculpture of the man with his sons all clinging to him is because he must choose which one to eat. Look at the anguish
How the hell did you get to video in the Met when they specifically state that you are not allowed to video??!!!!!!! Or did they change their policy with the influencer craze??
Learn how to pronounce the names
Sorry you are having a bad day
Didn’t love the stupid neon add-ins. Kinda cheapened the whole video. My opinion.
This video is two years old and we haven't done that since.
The modern paintings were pure crap. The curator is laughable for putting them in and ur story on them was worthless.
You okay Travis or you just passionate about art?
