      Sea is "دریا" and Lake is "دریاچه" as you said. "چه" at the end of words usually means "small". So, here دریاچه means small sea!

    Please, can someone tell me how to pronounce "علفزار" I really need to know, I would be really thankful.

    • @bakhshizade
      @bakhshizade 5 лет назад +1

      It is pronounced as [alafzaar], where the first two vowels sound somewhat similar to the English vowel in 'bad' while the last vowel may be compared with the English vowel in 'star'. Please also note that in the colloquial style, the [z] sound in [alafzar] tends to lose its voiced quality, meaning that it has a sound between [z] and [s].

    Now I am wondering if Persian really is an agglutinative language. The ending را (rā) has at least two meanings: The accusative case and the determination.

    • @RezaNazarie
      @RezaNazarie  6 лет назад

      را is only object marker in Farsi. It simply means when you have an object in a sentence you should put را after that.

    • @محمدالعمري-ز9و
      @محمدالعمري-ز9و 6 лет назад

      Thank you but I mean something else.
      If I say for example: من یک سیب می‌خورم (I eat an apple) then "apple" is an accusative object but it's not determined so it doesn't take را.
      That means that را has two meanings: The accusative case and determination.
      So Persian is not agglutinative in this case.
