Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RUclips channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

A friend who plays on the Asian circuit played with Louis Ousthiezen (sp). LO played poorly and still shit three under, whereas my friend played okay, but not great, and shot three over. Some folk's bad is better than others.

So proud of both of these guys. Started watching Rick years ago, and started watching Garrett at 20k on his channel. Ridiculous how far these great people have come and they are definitely bringing more people to golf as well as making it so much more fun. Love y’all!

Poor golf (and both would admit it) but a fun match nonetheless. The mental game is huge and both were lacking. Not pro caliber but entertaining. You tube golf vs pro golf. Garret’s short game saved him again.

I started playing Golf about 18 months ago. Rick basically was my swing coach... Learned how to hit all my clubs and manage myself around a course through Rick's videos.
As I started improving, I explored other channels and fell in love with the GG guys. I absolutely love their content.
This series, all the UK videos and matches have solidified my love for you all. What an amazing last few weeks.

Good Good Golf owes Rick a great deal of thanks for all the promos he made for them to get to 1 million subs. He is a true Good Good friend.
They were going to get there anyways, but it would have taken a couple more months absent this collab. They were at 870k at the start of the trip and then just rocketed. Rick has gained a good bit his own through this as well though. I would bet there were probably more Rick fans unaware of GG than the opposite. Brilliant stuff.

Rick is a youtube golf legend, but Garrett is absolutely an S tier golf content creator in his own right. the Sunday matches with Tig were the highlights of many Sunday nights during the depths of pandemic lockdown
same... even before the camera men, shot tracers.... the sunday matches were the best... miss them :(

I couldnt of said it better myself. Those sunday matches were the highlight of some of my weeks. I love the Grant vs Garrett matches but the o.g matches hit different.

I feel like I have this course memorized better than my own home course lol literally look forward to these videos every week.
Rick, if and when you go out to the US to do more content with the GG boys, I'd love to see a longform video where it's break 75 with you playing your own ball and each of the GG guys playing 3 holes each of their ball and take their total cumulative score. See who scores best and if both of you can break 75. Love the collab!

I've loved all these videos you did with the good good guys. I ONLY wish that you guys did a "Wheel of Not Ideal" challenge. I was subbed to you first, then found them from Google recommended a few months prior to the meet up, but those are some of my favorite videos they did. Would have been great seeing you spin a driver while in a bunker 😂

After watching all these collab matches at JCB Country Club, I feel as if I know all the undulations on the fairways and greens, danger and bailout areas, and really want to take a swing at that long par 3 island hole! Great job Rick and GG.
You know the undulations of 10 holes maximum. I suspect it's the 10 holes Rick likes best and he still got a pounding

I think people in general don’t understand how good they are. Rick has had a positive attitude and has been promoting the snot out of their channel which is nice to see.

I haven't watched "proper" television in like five years and when people ask me what I DO watch I'm like "well let me tell you about my favorite shows, Rick Shiels Golf and Good Good!" To get them both on the same course for multiple matches has been awesome. Can't wait to rewatch!
