- Our next stop in our Nordic adventure is Sweden! Join us as we walk around the city center of Stockholm and then visit Gröna Lund! This compact park is home to an odd collection of roller coasters, the most recent of which is the B&M invert Monster! We’ll give our thoughts on this new attraction, as well as experience some of the other popular rides in the park!

That's because sux flags goes for thrills over theming. Duh. Would you rather have dumb down rides with good theming or awesome rides with little to no theming? Pretty much every park out there has better "theming" then six flags parks. Bashing six flags theming is getting old and really no need to brig it up

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: It really is amazing how they were able to cram in all those rides into a small space!
Good call on going to the Vasa museum, really spectacular. I very much enjoyed Stockholm, feel like it doesn’t get enough attention when people talk about big European cities to visit.
Gröna Lund is so great and isn't just the ship and massive booms.
The two of you have captured lightening in a bottle. You balance each other so well. Major networks search far and wide to find people with your kind of chemistry. Taylor is an uber-coaster-nerd -- and I mean that in the best possible way because all the best people have at least a lil' geek and nerd in 'em. And Sarah is delightful (also super coaster-nerdy, also in the best way) and brings the perfect balance and humor to your videos (bravo for the Rickroll, Sarah -- great voice!). I hope you guys can keep it up a long time. It's what sets you apart from the others. Cheers!

I last went to Gröna lund like 10 years ago and I'm a Stockholm resident. I really regret that now because Jetline will close down forever now after the fatal accident and I really loved that ride

I worked at Gröna Lund for 5 seasons. Absolute blast, was incredibly rewarding to work the rides. Always glad to see the park is being appreciated!
That point about the old school inverts being too much for the average person makes a lot of sense. Busch Gardens Tampa was my home park growing up, and Montu always was a walk-on. I can remember only one time that the queue actually had a wait to it. Riding Montu is a very intense experience, the ride feels like it's trying to rip your legs off. I guess a lot of people rode it once and then never rode it again after they felt those intense forces
You guys should get back to Gothenburg this summer for their 100th anniversary!
As a person watching this a few months after its release it’s very sad what happened to jetline. RIP
It's unfortunate that JetLine had a derailment recently, 1 dead 4 severely injured, they're dismantling it but hopefully we will get a replacement now with the expansion the park will get :)
as a person that visits gröna Lund a lot I can see why they fell insane is uncomfortable but for me its my favourite ride there.

It is not a Viking ship, its from the 1600.
Fun fact: The Vasa ship was actually the royal ship for sweden during our "era of great power" in which we were one of europes most powerfull nations. Unfortunately the ship was so heavy and stacked with weapons that it sank not even 10 minutes after it set sail. It was then recovered from the ocean floor exactly 333 years later. It was a miracle that it was still intact. But it goes to show how sturdy the ship was for it's time.
that’s funny that Sarah mentioned the park reminding her of a Rollercoaster Tycoon park because those were my exact thoughts! the layout of the park is so well executed with so little space. the coasters weave in and out of each other and travel through some really cool tunnels and other near miss elements. there’s a lot of fun looking nooks and crannies scattered throughout the park, and the pathways weave in and around all of the attractions allowing for some really cool views and vantage points of the rides. the amount of kinetic energy in this park seems like it makes for very vibrant and one of a kind atmosphere. not to mention the architecture around the park is absolutely stunning, particularly the station and surrounding area for Monster. from a design perspective, the park looks incredible. and the rides look great to match. although the coasters here might not be exactly “elite”, the overall package of the park makes this one of my bucket list destinations.

Sarah was dead-on with Rick Astley's actual pitch from the song she was singing (we all know the one), which is impressive. The ability to do this is actually one of the key indicators of having perfect pitch, assuming she didn't hear the song itself within a few minutes of when this was filmed (having a fresh reference pitch in your head vs pulling it out of thin air at random being the key difference). Great voice either way!
Like the pillar at 11:18 there are 2 additional ones right inside the restaurant next doors, one in the kitchen & one in the bar - not the easiest place to work!

You guys are nuts going to amusement parks in cold weather! I could never do that. That's why I moved to Florida decades ago. I'm an annual pass holder to BGT and both Universal Parks, but if it's under 75° I keep my fat ass at home where it's warm and toasty!!

Yeah I was thinking that. Looking it up, it's 17th century. But aparently the only preserved one. That's pretty cool nonetheless.
They have unisex bathrooms on my college campus in the US, same thing, the stall walls go to the ceiling, but there are also specific stalls with urinals too. I feel like with time and social acceptance, something like these should become standard.
If that boat museum was something you found really interesting, if you ever go back to England I definitely recommend to check out Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. It's about an hour drive from Thorpe Park, or a 40 minute drive from Paultons Park. It contains a couple of old ships, one being the Mary Rose (Henry VIII's old ship which sank off the shore Solent and was brought back, the ruins are on display) and HMS Victory (Lord Nelson's Ship, which you can board and look around on) there's also the HMS Warrior, and more, I just can't remember off the top of my head

Sarah singing Rick Astley made my day 😊 Love the ship but wish you would have went to the Abba museum 😢😊 The Drop towers are a no for me especially with all the accidents they have had. We did a case study on that ship when I was getting my MBA. Super fascinating story, incredibly unfortunate they didn't know exactly what they were doing so it sank immediately. That will definitely be top of the list of things to do when visiting for me!

Unisex toilets were commonplace in Australia when I grew up in the 80’s. Our toilets have floor to ceiling doors, unlike the bizarre small doors on US toilets.
It was never thought unusual until the right wingers decided they don’t like the idea of unisex toilets.

There’s a tall slippery fence around the lift motor but it’s kind of easy to go and jump on to the catwalk

It sunk under the muddy seafloor of Stockholm’s bay which apparently is free of wood-eating bacteria. It stayed in that environment from the 1600s to the 1950s

There were almost no flips on that Zac Spin. From what I counted, there was 1 flip and that was towards the end, it looked very uncomfortable from those reactions.
