When your wood chipper has more horse power than all the engine powder vehicles and machinery you own🤯

Some people can't seem to tell the difference between 9 and 12 grease fittings and brag that they can chip a load in 13-16 minutes while a competitor can do the same in 5.73 minutes ! Does this braggart even know how to run a chipper or is he a couch cowboy with a laptop ??

And it will be shook all to pieces in 12 months! Bandit doesn't build the chipper that PETERSON does! The feed is bullshit. I tried one out! There not built heavy enough! Let me know in 12 months

@@darrenboyer3906 mine is a 4300. About a 765 horsepower 3406 cat. Best design built. No flimbsy Steele,no roller chains, about 9 grease fittings total. And that's a big thing to look at when buying a chipper, this one has no wear points! We have been in the chipping business for over 30 years and a Peterson is the only way to go

@@jamescarter1500 Thanks for getting back to me, Just wondering what the capacity in that size would be per hour( how long to fill a chip truck) trailer vs tracks. With or without loader. Thanks again

@@darrenboyer3906 I feed it with a 559 cat loader. Burns around 9-10 gallons of fuel per load. And as long as you keep your knives pretty sharp this machine will make some wood disappear. Mine is set up for micro-chips 1/4 inch chip but it can easily be converted to a fuel chipper! I keep a small pocket knife sharpener and pull it across each of the twelve knives about every morning takes about 5 minutes but you will end up chipping 13-15 more loads on a set of knives before sharpened. 5 bucks. I know this machine well so I know how to feed it and I can blow about 28 tons of hardwood in 14-16 minutes. Depends on the wood. I've made quality product out of some of the nastiest wood that grows on the east coast. Peterson is the way to go. The design is simple not a bunch of unnecessary junk like roller chain and flemsy crap. About 12 grease fittings total. Best of the best been chipping for about 20 years. And a Peterson will run day in a day out if you do your part

@@jamescarter1500 James, Thank you very much for the information. It is a lot more informative coming from someone who is in the business. We have been in the logging business for about 25 years, but have always been involved in either tree length or cut to length. This will be our first venture into the chipping aspect of it, so this is very new to us, and we want to make sure we are buying a qualitychipping machine to match the output we need. We are still in the early stages of setting up, and have a lot of figures to address, so any information is beneficial. I do have have a question about chipper rates if you could answer. Just wondering what a fair chipping rate would be?
      Thanks again Darren
