    Buen día, subo mi kh a 4 con alkaline buffer y luego ajusto el ph en 6 con acid buffer, vuelvo a medir kh y me da cero, ese es el valor real? Para que lo suvo a 4 si después me va a quedar en cero ?

    can you use this while the fish are in the tank?

      Yes, you can use it while the fish is in the tank but don't change more then 0.2 pH in a day.

    I need your advice to reach my goal. My tap water is PH 8 / GH 8 / KH 6. I would like to have a PH around 6: what product should I use? Acid Buffer? Acid regulator? Discuss Buffer? Thank you for your help

      Using discus buffer will lower the minerals and should be able to reach pH of 6. Although several doses might be needed

    Sir, this doesn't work. I have tried using it. The pH level goes down for some time, but after some time the pH level starts increasing again. I prepare the water before using the buffer. I use air pump and fan to keep it ventilated for 12-14 hours. After that I take the buffer. I have tried it on 100% RO water, but it didn't help. Please help me.🙏

      If the ph keep on rising, you'll have to check if there's anything in your aquarium system that is rising the ph level. For example crushed corals, laval rocks or any minerals rocks or sands

      @@SeachemMalaysia Sir, before adding water to my discus tank, I take only water in a separate bucket and put only an air pump in it and leave it for twelve hours. Then after twelve hours I put discus buffer in it but still the pH does not remain stable. Yes, the pH decreases for a while but then after a while it starts increasing on its own. What should I do? Please give me some suggestions.

      Check for anything that might increase pH in your tank. For example, crushed corals, rocks or even sands that could be alkaline in nature.

      @@SeachemMalaysia Sir, I took out all the equipment and checked but the situation is still the same as before. I can try something else like without air pump, I can just install a fan and blow air over the water from above and observe for 10-12 hours so that the air from the fan can reach the surface of the bucket of water. Then I will see what happens. If you have some other suggestion then let me know.

      You can use either neutral regulator or alkaline buffer. Alkaline buffer if it's an aqua scape tank.

      I'm using seachem replenish , will I be correct if I just add neutral regulator with it ? Thx

    • @SeachemMalaysia
      @SeachemMalaysia  17 дней назад +1

      @kurtschembri246 yes, since you're using r.o. water you should use both neutral regulator and replenish to increase the pH and gh of the water

      Hi, I used Google translate. I hope I get your question right. Use 4g each time during water changes or as often as needed to maintain pH of 7.0.
