  • Highlights from the Uppermill Whit Friday Contest 24th May 2002 including full performances from 30 of the 59 bands that competed that day.
    This is a digital conversion of a VHS recording originally made and sold by Paul Rayner Photography in Huddersfield and the copyright remains with that company. I have made no edits nor attempted to fix any issues with colour or audio from the original VHS footage.
    In compiling the list of bands and pieces I have corrected or updated some details based on the information about the contest published at brassbandresul... and I have added names of conductors where I can identify them. If you have any further information or corrections please leave a comment below.
    Interesting what Goff has to say about choice of marches, in comparison to his comments at the end of the 2000 contest!
