Amazing footage, I love how we can actually hear 1309's compound action on a couple of hilly spots. A few months ago, the WMSR actually put a New York Central 6 chime whistle on her for a while, and it probably gave the closest sound to the actual Hudsons that we'll get in the modern era (I still cannot believe not a single one of them was preserved). Footage of it is on RUclips, and it is utterly spectacular.
Thanks! And I actually was hoping for the NYC 6 Chime to be on the locomotive, either that or the single chime Hooter Whistle. I won’t complain with the Longbell seen in the video, it sounded great.

I am so glad that the screechy sounding European type whistle is gone. Now 1309 really looks and SOUNDS like the AWSOME engine she really is !!!
