- Swedish National Anthem in F major (instead of B-flat major). The lower key is easier for singing along.
Snippet from SVT's broadcast on 18 June 2010 of a concert celebrating Crown Princess Victoria's marriage to Daniel Westling. Royal Stockholm Philharmonic accompanies the audience. - Видеоклипы
Så vackert! Det berör mitt patriotiska hjärta. Aldrig ska min lojalitet till mitt vackra fosterland och min konung vackla! Mitt liv för Sverige!
Samma här. Mi liv och min hätta bör i Sverige!
Sweden 😍
I noticed the Queen of Denmark was singing along to the Swedish national anthem - can anyone tell me why?
+irishfromengland The Nordic people, especially the older generations, do know the melody and lyrics to the national anthems of the neighboring countries. In the royalty's case, even more so, as connections are tight and warm, but this is something a normal person could've learnt at school as well.
Her Majesty, Margrethe II, Queen of Denmark is herself fluent in Swedish and familiar with the anthem, due to the fact her late mother, Her Majesty, Queen Ingrid of Denmark was born a Princess of Sweden and was the paternal aunt of His Majesty, Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden.
Simple; Scandinavian brotherhood.
Her mother is a Swedish princess
I'm Swedish and I can sing along with Danish and Norwegian National Anthems. I learned them as a kid. I know the melody to the Icelandic and Finnish ones too, but the languages are just too fifferent for me to be able to sing along.
Vackert!
Varför det var ju så många som sjöng int?
Because it was the anthem
bbboi I love u so much ❤
