What I like about this match besides it being about the Seniors, is the fact they gave Filip Humler his due. Seeing how he almost died due to a medical issue and he had no family here, but he had his other family here We the People of Hawaii took him in. He has adapted so well in local culture and pidgin. He truly is an inspiration.

Yup, it’s not easy and in certain times not fun especially when people left comments that really didn’t understand how time consuming it was, at least for me it was time consuming.

@@HawaiianTime808 If this is who I think it is (808PP?), then I can see that. When you first started posting, the audio was low and I had to change the magnification on my tv set. A few button presses were needed. Compared to what you had to go through, I didn't even think of complaining. Most of us who watched your videos were so grateful. So grateful.

UH vs UCSB Game 1 was my first time recording from TV to pc, and I apologize for the poor sound quality, that weird reverb. I was trying to learn how to use the software program on the fly. I think I've come to understand how to reduce the choppiness in recordings, and I'll do my best to improve in making these videos 🤙

Even though the teams in the top 5 are pretty close, UH's block, and service pressure is probably the most consistent of the top 5 teams. In all these 2 team matches, the UH team may struggle a little in their first match, but after watching game tapes and probability and statistics of the opposing team, they are able to concentrate on the players that give them the most trouble and are able to counter them on the second match. The Big West Championship is a one game only, you're in or you're out tournament, hopefully their matches throughout the year will help them counter the opponents strong points again. UH has more weapons that you can't really focus on one, unlike this match where if you can key on Ka, you can control the match better. First night Ka had 20 kills, tonight they blocked him many times. He was their go to player while UH has many go to players.
Mahalo for posting this as I watch religiously from Colorado, and now Michigan. It'll be a crime if UH isn't in the NCAAs as I bought tickets as it'll be an honor to see these seniors play live before they hang up their Warrior jerseys.
Once again !!! Really really appreciate all the effort put into the uploading of this videos. Thanks to that i was able to meet this team. I was able to admire how warming can be hawaiian People. I was able to know a Little More about their Culture, the hospitality they have with foreign People, and if i have the chance yo visit this beautiful island I'll Do my best to do it on a senior night at the STAN, I never thought i could get emotional by watching a volleyball match , but the rainbows did it posible. So thanks for all. Keep the support to this great group of People.
