That nomase gill is a pond killer. No problem with the hook coming out.

JSJ trout is slow moving subtle. Cut the tail off and add a tail spin.
I recently grabbed a few for 5$ too at our local shop. Good for fall to winter dragging I guess.
I have a clothing store near me called Gabes they sell those River2sea baits for usually under $5. They also have live target and a couple of other companies giant soft plastic swimbaits. It's also the place I get all my name brand performance long sleeves extremely cheap like huk for $10 a shirt.

The JSJ trigger trout is an odd swimbait to get tuned in and get the retrieve correct kinda like the Jackall Gantarell gill swimbait, but once you get it dialed it’s mint. Don’t sleep on that thing!!! I’ve got about 12 of them

And the only I’ll say with the savage gear swimbait the weight on it comes out of the bottom of the plastic and it attends to roll so just watch for that
I believe Matt from tactical bassin uses the trash fish almost like a jig a slow roll it on the bottom

Hey they look great. I too am from Michigan, Orleans. My worry I guess would be pike, I wouldn't want to get them all tore up. I'd say definitely worth the try, thanks for experimenting so I don't have to lol. Good work guys.

For that $5 soft plastic swim bait I would add a Willow leaf and make it in to a underspin swim bait

Those trash fish are perfect for slow creeping on the bottom or swimming in grass, those nomase gills are like soft lipless cranks!

The baits are interesting but I wouldn't see using anything like that for bass but most definitely musky. Some of the smaller baits like the savage gear one's I would throw for our bass here in Michigan!

It's hard to try new stuff. About ready to tie a fluke on and probably fish them most of the summer. My total confidence bait.

Great video guys that jsj trigger trout isn't really good the hook is the best part of that bait. The boracon 150 has great swim action and dead walks pretty nice but. The durability isn't the best it does have a harness system with the swivels. So if it does rip on a big fish the bait stays in tack to land the fish but. Essentially the bait will be destroyed after. Most of the baits u showed were budget friendly baits when it comes to the swimbait game and I don't think u really get into expensive swimbaits until u pass that $75-$100 mark even though u could say everyones expensive is different. So I def understand I was the same way when I started swimbaiting.
Non swimbait people find $20 to be expensive. Swimbait people seem to laugh at that 😂
@@aaanglers haha u aint wrong but. I felt same way and didn't wanna spend anything over $60 for a swimbait. Now that seems like a steal lmao.
Pro Tip- Nomase Gill DOES NOT PLAY NICE WITH OTHER PLASTIC!!!! It could be more sensitive than ZMan plastic. 😊

I bought 10 of those Trigger Trouts...way too cool, for $4!! Tactical Bassin said they need to be fished fast, not slow baits....u fished it, and if so caught any?
