Great video. Only thing I would add/mention is that you should have the usb receiver already plugged in before installing the software and rebooting. A LOT of people miss this, as they just want to run through it quickly, but it can cause errors with installation as some software checks for it. No matter what, you should reboot each time you add/remove/swap usb receivers. Thanks for spending the time to create this and welcome aboard!

Which ADS-B USB receiver are you using and are you having any issues with your chosen one?
thanks! I am using the AirNav kit, it has mostly everything you need. USB adapter, antenna, cable, and brackets -> amzn.to/3RrMu8Y
there is tons of options out there, this was easier because it was bundled together.
so far no issues, my raspberry pi rebooted a couple times, but i think that's because my power cable need to be replaced

That kit is trash. The blue SDr's are whats recommended and definitely not that antenna. This is discussed in the discord at length, not just my personal opinion.

@@CryptoJar yeah. We are seeing a growing failure rate in the green SDR’s. I’ve lost 3 in the past 6 weeks. So I’ve started using the blue ones. The antenna, that feed line is permanently attached to the antenna. It’s too long and too thin which has a good amount of loss. And if the feed line is ever damaged, then it can’t be swapped out.. but good video otherwise! Glad to see more and more people learning and talking about wingbits

I abandoned this shit project when they abandoned the hex ownership model. I had just bought hexes above the international airport where I live.
