What a cool show to see in person for the first time!!! I saw crown and bloo 16 for my first ever show, saw phantom in 2018 and I fell in love with them ever since
Something about it just felt magical. Like everyone was actually invested into that show. The writing was awesome, the execution was excellent. There was real energy and the closer wrapped it all up better than you'd ever ask for. Great show from phantom. I'm feeling another "best 4th place" from them

as someone who marched from 2016 -19 this is the show that brought me back. shows in recent years just dont hit like they used to. But after not following the activity for some time then randomly getting this suggested on my feed. I just bought my tickets for finals weekend. this is everything drum corps should strive to be for many years to come. great hornline, great repertoire, great pacing, and just such a well put together show. hands down the best show of the summer. So glad I'm getting to see it live. Thank you Phantom Regiment for re-igniting my passion for the activity.
@atlantic_love this is the closest this year. Don't act like you didn't know what he meant. Just be thankful shows like this are still moving fans and future performers / writers
@@christopherbernhardt I mean what I wrote, bozo. If you can't see what's going on with DCI, and being filtered down to the high school marching band level and DESTROYING IT, then you are part of the problem.

Let’s be so for real here, the only people that would watch old DCI shows are old people and a few young people. The activity would plummet. That’s coming from a guy that owns a few G Bugles too.
@@sceu25 Being open-minded, in the sense that I conveyed it, doesn't have anything to do with not respecting corps traditiions, as you seem to be conflating. And nobody said anything about "watching old shows". Thinking and respecting aren't your strong suits. Stick to blowing on G's.
So awesome! I’ve rewatched this dozens of times. I love everything about their show - from the beginning piano sonata to the explosive ending and everything in between. My friends went to the finals in Indiana and I kick myself for not joining them! This I had to be spectacular live!
Many wonderful things to say about this show. But let me point out one...that drum major is one serious conductor--I hope she pursues conducting in the future.
@@monaicbutgood that 2nd movement brass feature is 1.) cheeks and 2.) dirty as hell. crown should be ahead by a considerable margin. not to mention phantom has a horribly crass and blatty brass sound.

That hit at the end damn near blew my eardrum at San Antonio….I was sitting three rows up. Absolutely AMAZING

Not sure where you saw this, but the recap at this exact show has Crown's brass higher in both content and execution. 👍
