    It’s true the tongue must relax. In addition the ah sound is so open there’s a tendency the air escapes. So if you can produce the ah sound but with less open mouth.

    if I wanted to sing countertenor, should i first learn how to sing in baritone, or go for countertenor first?? I want to practice the right one so that i can sing better for the other.

    I’m still waiting for a voc coach to explain why some singers sing like Hermit The Frog but it must have to do with “tongue-stuffing”., line Lowell George from the 70s and quite a few others back then on the pop alt rock scene ( he’s o r of the few I line ).

    Can you demonstrate without using vibrato? Just a straight note

      You can hear me sing with straight tone to vibrato in my performance videos in pop style.

    One thing I'm not sure about is should i try to feel resonance in my chest and mouth at the same time?
    Or is one for high notes and one for lower notes?
    I can sing where i feel both but it takes a lot of concentration

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  Год назад +1

      I would have to work with you individually to give you specific advice. If you are in the lower part of your range, you will probably feel buzz in both chest and mouth. As you go up in pitch, the chest buzz will be less. See my playlist on Resonance.

      @@Victoria-Victorious thanks so much and that explanation matches what I seem to feel when I try to go higher.
      Thanks for your response and your videos. I've watched a bunch of them so far.

      @@Victoria-Victorious i think I'm in the lower part of the range but when I'm warmed up and focused I think I can do a higher head voice.
      It's really wild to me to see this all broken down because signing always just seemed like magic to me.
      But when you break it down I realize it's a skill like any other
