Maybe some of you wouldn't care but I just don't understand some KPOP stans logic. One time, I recommended BIGBANG to my girl classmate who's also a KPOP stan, yet her response is, "The gap is too big, I'm just 16 and they're 30s already." And I was like, 'LOL, why are you thinking about it, as if you're going to make them your boyfriends just because you're stanning them', seriously. As a VIP, I never see BIGBANG or my bias G-DRAGON as my boyfriend. I just respect them so much, defend their name and legacy, support their music and solo careers. BIGBANG, KINGS OF K-POP: - not because of their looks (not all visuals considered) - not because of their dancing skills (rarely follow choreo) - not because of their fan service (Sr/Tae, best of FS HAHAHA) - not because of their appearance on variety shows (rarely joined VS) - not because of the extra performance design (not the best opening wth green screens, lightings, effects, and such) We love them first because of their music. Next is their voices which means the vocals and rap lines, then when we saw their live performances, then the fashion, and then we get to see their variety appearances, their own documentary, history, discography, self producing hardworking artists, real singers and sincere idols of idols. No matter how many groups who will or already debuted, dancing so freaking good, so freaking handsome and hot, so freakin great long ranged vocals, so freakin fast in rapping, so freakin popular across the globe. Bigbang is Bigbang, you don't compare them will those people. Like I said, they are not the normal streotype of K-POP, they're on the league of their own. The very reason why BIGBANG do not appreciate the term of K-POP. Because like they said, you don't divide music by whose singing it. Music is just Music. It's funny how they became popular and become Kings of K-POP even without those extra extra mushy mushy extra extra thingyyy. And the fact that people still compare them to groups nowadays speaks VOLUME. They are the standard, whether you accept it or not. BIGBANG IS THE STANDARD.
Why Bigbang are called The Kings of Kpop?? Here we go: 1. Bigbang is one of the first group to start writing and producing their own music. G-Dragon is the first idol to do it. I remember GD saying the difference between BigBang & other groups is that every Bigbang member can stand on their own, & still people recognize them by their own name & talent, not by being the member of Bigbang, & that is so true.
i think ppl tend to forget how hard it was for bigbang back when they debuted. they were looked at as though they debuted with golden spoons in their mouth but it was very from it. when they debuted, everyone called them ugly and told them that they’d never make it big and that they should quit. they were ridiculed for everything they did. it wasn’t until Lies came out that ppl finally realized the talent they had. then in 2009 with g-dragons solo artist debut he was attacked for plagiarizing Flo Rida which sent him endless hate. it got so bad that they had to reach out to flo rida himself to clear up the issue, flo rida and his team said that there was no trace of plagiarism and respected gd. this is not even close to the worst scandal they’ve had. people always think BIGBANG had it easy. but they didn’t. at first they didn’t even have enough money to eat, and ended up starving since their manager sometimes failed to bring them food at their dorm. they would have no money so would share a pack of cookies amongst each other, letting it melt in their mouth to savour the taste and make the cookie last longer. in 2011, daesung got into a car accident that people believed killed someone, although someone had died, it wasn’t daesungs fault and police reports proved it. but people still didn’t believe him, they called him a murderer and told him to leave BIGBANG. he didn’t leave his room for months, and couldn’t face his own parents bc he was embarrassed. even tho he didn’t kill the person, he still apologized for it, apologized to the family, and even paid for the funeral. then G-dragon got involved in a marijuana scandal, where people called him a druggie and pothead. he didn’t even intentionally smoke the weed, he was offered a cigarette at a party, and not knowing the smell of weed, he took a puff but realized that it tasted weird so he quickly stopped. police reports even showed that the trace of marijuana was very little, supporting his claim. but still, people attacked him. in 2012, they came back from all these scandals with a song called Monster, displaying their emotions saying “i’m not a monster, you know me” “let’s stay together till the end” as most vips turned their backs on them and starting hating. they also released Fantastic Baby in 2012, garnering worldwide attention, setting them on top once again. BIGBANG has proved themselves to went thru the worst, but people still didn’t think it was enough. we all know abt 2015 MADE and T.O.P scandal so we don’t need to go into that as T.O. P is continuously apologizing to his fans even 3 years later for his actions and how he embarrassed everyone, especially his fans and mother and bandmates. 2018, people accused GD of having special care in his military enlistment. they didn’t even leave him alone even when he was serving his country. haters came at him, telling him to stop acting like he’s injured. 2019, people accused Seungri of disgusting allegations that he denied, pleading people to put his trust in him, but no. the nation turned their back, tainted his career forever, forced him to leave BIGBANG and retire from the Kpop Industry. 1 year later? 2020, he’s proven innocent. but people won’t apologize. kbs won’t apologize for ruining an innocent mans life. now the only cases he’s facing is a financial case regarding his business. these cases have nothing to do with women and drugs and mostly result in a fine, no jail time. but still, people continuously hate on him, hate on BIGBANG, claiming it’s their end. there are so so so many more hardships they’ve faced, im not saying all this to get ur pity, it’s for ppl to realize how much BIGBANG went thru, yet still came back on top. 3 years later, after getting so much, so many petitions for the group to disband, they are coming back. coachella 2020 is going to be a blast. even tho they faced so much hate in their country, BIGBANG decided to come back. why? bc they care abt their fans. they want to finish what they started. they’ve said it before, “when we disband and stop making music, let’s do it with pride and no regret”. and they, are proving their words. these 5 men are perfect examples of true artists. not letting anything stop them from doing what they love, music. their popularity was based off pure talent, their voices, their charisma, their drive, not looks. they’ve said it endlessly they will never forget the reason they started music, to not let their wealth and fame and get in the way of their mindset they had when the first debuted. i could go on forever abt this beautiful band. they truly are the kings of kpop.

Okay, so here's what I got from the comments and my own interpretation: The rotations of the screen symbolize the movement of hands in a clock. Also, GD is sitting on the hand of a clock. He's also sitting at a very high place, signifying how BigBang are the top band in Korea right now. The people passing by without giving them a glance are normal people who don't really care about BigBang and will continue on in their lives, probably thinking that BigBang were just some legends of the past. They also represent people from the military, who are strangers with their personality masked by the plastic bags they are wearing on their heads. Seungri is standing in a doorway with the departure sign behind him, as if he is hesitant to leave and join the people who have already left and have moved on from BigBang. Daesung is standing in front of a theatre, representing how these past ten years they had been up on the 'stage' and out in the spotlight. But then the theatre breaks down showing how their time as a band is over, and the papers flying around Daesung are like the scripts to a play, probably representing their memories as a band. TOP is alone in a cold and dark place because he will have to leave the band and his fans to go to the military, which is an unfamiliar place shrouded in darkness. Taeyang is in a place which is falling apart, representing the end of their time together. When everything goes in reverse, it shows them wishing that they could go back in time so they don't have to say goodbye. The little children of course refer to BigBang when they were just starting out and were carefree and didn't have to worry about things such as disbanding. The girl that GD hugs symbolizes us VIPs, since we will be the only ones who truly remember BigBang. GD dances with the girl one last time as a thank you to the fans for staying with them for so long. He leaves his place at the top and struggles through the crowd of people to reach the VIPs, meaning that even though they might not be the top band, they will always be there for their fans. He also runs away with the girl, signifying how unwilling he is to part with the VIPs. Also, you can hear fan cheers from BigBang concerts in TOP's part in the end. This song is called 'Last Dance' because it's their last song as a five-member group; their last song as the BigBang that we've come to love.

I think GD's on top at the start of the mv because it shows how he could see everyone and everything from the top as bigbang is still the top boygroup of KR right now, but at the same time he worries. in seungri's scene, people were just walking around him while he remained unmoving and there's "departure" at his back. i think it represents the people leaving while he stands there, not knowing what to do which also talks about bigbang's anxiety of people leaving them. youngbae's in an abandoned place all by himself which could represent how he feels alone. the kids of course represent bigbang when they just debuted, when it was all fun for them and they had less worries. daesung's in a theater (?) where sheets of paper were flying around. there were the words "work" and "world" written behind him while people were walking backward and he stayed on the spot. maybe the people symbolize his desire to go back in time when everything was easier and his whole world didnt revolve around their work because now, they're still pressured to do good so people/fans wont leave. the other members only stayed on one spot or moved backward in their scenes, only top walked forward and i think this shows that while the other members are caught between the past and the present, top who's getting enlisted is ready to move forward and start a new journey. i agree with one comment on the mv analysis here. the girl represents vips. the people moving around the members symbolize the people or public who could live their lives without bigbang and just leave them. so gd was struggling to get past these people to get to the girl. thats why at the end, gd left the top to go to the girl. It's telling us that possibly, someday, they wouldnt be the top group anymore but theyre going to come back for the vips. all those people left but gd stayed with the girl. this maybe a reach but i think the camera work is not only for aesthetic purposes, it gives an impression of the world spinning while the people around bigbang were leaving, the members remained on the spot and gd finally found the girl (vips). so basically the mv is about how the public could leave bigbang when theyre inactive but vips would stay and bigbang would come back for us.

Thank you BigBang for saving me 13 years ago! Some people might find this exaggerated but BB did really save me 13 years ago. When I was at my lowest, I was ready to give up everything. There was no reason for me to continue living at that time BUT when I saw BB documentary and watch them debut and fight for their dreams, I can’t explain properly but I felt alive again. They faced a lot of discrimination back then, a lot of struggles and hate but each time they proved that they’re stronger and bigger than any negative issue thrown at them. I think its because we wont be seeing Big Bang as a group after TOP enlists for a while. Because the other members will enlists gradually too and by the time they all make a comeback as a group 6-10 years will pass by. I remembered my aunt. She just stanned BIGBANG last year and it didnt change her mind to stan them when she heard the "issues" BIGBANG has encountered. These days, she has been watching korean mukbangs then one night while she was watching one mukbang video, she suddenly paused it and said, "Let me watch their(BIGBANG) videos. I missed them." My 32-yr old aunt is missing BIGBANG and she doesn't care how old she is, she will stan them. Like who doesn't miss them, right?

Fun fact : BIGBANG's MVs views are increasing slow because V.I.Ps are busy listening to the guys live concerts. If you like how BIGBANG show their personalities in MVs then you will definitely love the way BIGBANG rock their own concerts without a single one being boring to the audiences, they even make award shows(Melon, MAMA,...) became their own concert. And as a true fan I will do a thing I am capable to do which is to wait for them and to love them unconsciously. - not because of their looks (not all visuals considered)
- not because of their dancing skills (rarely follow choreo)
- not because of their fan service (Sr/Tae, best of FS HAHAHA)
- not because of their appearance on variety shows (rarely joined VS)
- not because of the extra performance design (not the best opening wth green screens, lightings, effects, and such)
We love them first because of their music. Next is their voices which means the vocals and rap lines, then when we saw their live performances, then the fashion, and then we get to see their variety appearances, their own documentary, history, discography, self producing hardworking artists, real singers and sincere idols of idols.
No matter how many groups who will or already debuted, dancing so freaking good, so freaking handsome and hot, so freakin great long ranged vocals, so freakin fast in rapping, so freakin popular across the globe. Bigbang is Bigbang, you don't compare them will those people. Like I said, they are not the normal streotype of K-POP, they're on the league of their own.
The very reason why BIGBANG do not appreciate the term of K-POP. Because like they said, you don't divide music by whose singing it. Music is just Music.
It's funny how they became popular and become Kings of K-POP even without those extra extra mushy mushy extra extra thingyyy.

Why Bigbang are called The Kings of Kpop?? Here we go:
1. Bigbang is one of the first group to start writing and producing their own music. G-Dragon is the first idol to do it. And not only writing songs but he produced such a hit song(Lies-Bigbang). After that agencies started giving their idols chance to do it.
2. Bigbang is the first one to have official lightstick.The first official lightstick in kpop was designed by G-Dragon. It was called Bang Bong. Since then all fandoms followed it and now every fandom has their own lightstick.
3. T.O.P is the first underground rapper turned idol in kpop and the first rapper in kpop to have a deep voice. After that it became a trend for every group to have a rapper with a deep voice.
4. Bigbang was the first boy group to dye their hair bright unusual colors like pink, blue, neon green, orange. G-Dragon made it trend, starting from blonde there is no color he hasn't tried. Now every kpop idol will color their hair differently in every comeback.
5. They were the first group to call the youngest member as "maknae" as Seungri and TOP both have the same name which is Seunghyun. They did that so they can call seungri as maknae and not to confuse both of them. Now every group and their fans will call the youngest member as "maknae".
6. Bigbang is also the first group that members have solo careers without disbanding. Before bigbang, groups always disbanded or the member just left if one of them wants to pursuit their own career. i think ppl tend to forget how hard it was for bigbang back when they debuted. they were looked at as though they debuted with golden spoons in their mouth but it was very from it. when they debuted, everyone called them ugly and told them that they’d never make it big and that they should quit. they were ridiculed for everything they did. it wasn’t until Lies came out that ppl finally realized the talent they had.
then in 2009 with g-dragons solo artist debut he was attacked for plagiarizing Flo Rida which sent him endless hate. it got so bad that they had to reach out to flo rida himself to clear up the issue, flo rida and his team said that there was no trace of plagiarism and respected gd.
this is not even close to the worst scandal they’ve had. people always think BIGBANG had it easy. but they didn’t. at first they didn’t even have enough money to eat, and ended up starving since their manager sometimes failed to bring them food at their dorm. they would have no money so would share a pack of cookies amongst each other, letting it melt in their mouth to savour the taste and make the cookie last longer.
in 2011, daesung got into a car accident that people believed killed someone, although someone had died, it wasn’t daesungs fault and police reports proved it. but people still didn’t believe him, they called him a murderer and told him to leave BIGBANG. he didn’t leave his room for months, and couldn’t face his own parents bc he was embarrassed. even tho he didn’t kill the person, he still apologized for it, apologized to the family, and even paid for the funeral.
then G-dragon got involved in a marijuana scandal, where people called him a druggie and pothead. he didn’t even intentionally smoke the weed, he was offered a cigarette at a party, and not knowing the smell of weed, he took a puff but realized that it tasted weird so he quickly stopped. police reports even showed that the trace of marijuana was very little, supporting his claim. but still, people attacked him.
in 2012, they came back from all these scandals with a song called Monster, displaying their emotions saying “i’m not a monster, you know me” “let’s stay together till the end” as most vips turned their backs on them and starting hating.
they also released Fantastic Baby in 2012, garnering worldwide attention, setting them on top once again. BIGBANG has proved themselves to went thru the worst, but people still didn’t think it was enough.
we all know abt 2015 MADE and T.O.P scandal so we don’t need to go into that as T.O. P is continuously apologizing to his fans even 3 years later for his actions and how he embarrassed everyone, especially his fans and mother and bandmates.
2018, people accused GD of having special care in his military enlistment. they didn’t even leave him alone even when he was serving his country. haters came at him, telling him to stop acting like he’s injured.
2019, people accused Seungri of disgusting allegations that he denied, pleading people to put his trust in him, but no. the nation turned their back, tainted his career forever, forced him to leave BIGBANG and retire from the Kpop Industry.
1 year later? 2020, he’s proven innocent. but people won’t apologize. kbs won’t apologize for ruining an innocent mans life. now the only cases he’s facing is a financial case regarding his business. these cases have nothing to do with women and drugs and mostly result in a fine, no jail time. but still, people continuously hate on him, hate on BIGBANG, claiming it’s their end. there are so so so many more hardships they’ve faced, im not saying all this to get ur pity, it’s for ppl to realize how much BIGBANG went thru, yet still came back on top.
3 years later, after getting so much, so many petitions for the group to disband, they are coming back. coachella 2020 is going to be a blast. even tho they faced so much hate in their country, BIGBANG decided to come back. why? bc they care abt their fans. they want to finish what they started. they’ve said it before, “when we disband and stop making music, let’s do it with pride and no regret”. and they, are proving their words. these 5 men are perfect examples of true artists. not letting anything stop them from doing what they love, music. their popularity was based off pure talent, their voices, their charisma, their drive, not looks. they’ve said it endlessly they will never forget the reason they started music, to not let their wealth and fame and get in the way of their mindset they had when the first debuted. i could go on forever abt this beautiful band. they truly are the kings of kpop.

Okay, so here's what I got from the comments and my own interpretation:
The rotations of the screen symbolize the movement of hands in a clock. Also, GD is sitting on the hand of a clock. He's also sitting at a very high place, signifying how BigBang are the top band in Korea right now. The people passing by without giving them a glance are normal people who don't really care about BigBang and will continue on in their lives, probably thinking that BigBang were just some legends of the past. They also represent people from the military, who are strangers with their personality masked by the plastic bags they are wearing on their heads. Seungri is standing in a doorway with the departure sign behind him, as if he is hesitant to leave and join the people who have already left and have moved on from BigBang. Daesung is standing in front of a theatre, representing how these past ten years they had been up on the 'stage' and out in the spotlight. But then the theatre breaks down showing how their time as a band is over, and the papers flying around Daesung are like the scripts to a play, probably representing their memories as a band. TOP is alone in a cold and dark place because he will have to leave the band and his fans to go to the military, which is an unfamiliar place shrouded in darkness. Taeyang is in a place which is falling apart, representing the end of their time together. When everything goes in reverse, it shows them wishing that they could go back in time so they don't have to say goodbye. The little children of course refer to BigBang when they were just starting out and were carefree and didn't have to worry about things such as disbanding. The girl that GD hugs symbolizes us VIPs, since we will be the only ones who truly remember BigBang. GD dances with the girl one last time as a thank you to the fans for staying with them for so long. He leaves his place at the top and struggles through the crowd of people to reach the VIPs, meaning that even though they might not be the top band, they will always be there for their fans. He also runs away with the girl, signifying how unwilling he is to part with the VIPs. Also, you can hear fan cheers from BigBang concerts in TOP's part in the end. This song is called 'Last Dance' because it's their last song as a five-member group; their last song as the BigBang that we've come to love.

I think GD's on top at the start of the mv because it shows how he could see everyone and everything from the top as bigbang is still the top boygroup of KR right now, but at the same time he worries. in seungri's scene, people were just walking around him while he remained unmoving and there's "departure" at his back. i think it represents the people leaving while he stands there, not knowing what to do which also talks about bigbang's anxiety of people leaving them. youngbae's in an abandoned place all by himself which could represent how he feels alone. the kids of course represent bigbang when they just debuted, when it was all fun for them and they had less worries. daesung's in a theater (?) where sheets of paper were flying around. there were the words "work" and "world" written behind him while people were walking backward and he stayed on the spot. maybe the people symbolize his desire to go back in time when everything was easier and his whole world didnt revolve around their work because now, they're still pressured to do good so people/fans wont leave. the other members only stayed on one spot or moved backward in their scenes, only top walked forward and i think this shows that while the other members are caught between the past and the present, top who's getting enlisted is ready to move forward and start a new journey. i agree with one comment on the mv analysis here. the girl represents vips. the people moving around the members symbolize the people or public who could live their lives without bigbang and just leave them. so gd was struggling to get past these people to get to the girl. thats why at the end, gd left the top to go to the girl. It's telling us that possibly, someday, they wouldnt be the top group anymore but theyre going to come back for the vips. all those people left but gd stayed with the girl. this maybe a reach but i think the camera work is not only for aesthetic purposes, it gives an impression of the world spinning while the people around bigbang were leaving, the members remained on the spot and gd finally found the girl (vips). so basically the mv is about how the public could leave bigbang when theyre inactive but vips would stay and bigbang would come back for us.
