I got email from embassy " comprehensive health insurance coverage. Travel health insurance is not sufficient." I already submitted dr-walter health insurance frim expatrio. Please guide me
hey Congratulations on your visa. I want to ask you some questions regarding visa: 1. for how many months you booked your stay? 2. which health insurance you opted for visa and for how many months? 3. you paid your fee through DD or Cash? Also there is any document verification fee ? like they were charging in job seeker visa? i really need answers for these questions. it’s urgent. Hope you revert soon. Thank you
Hey there Thank you 1. 12 months. Can be a mix of bookings in same or different cities 2. Expatrio, it was cheaper and best option for me 3. An additional background verification fee can be applicable to few professions Embassy will let you know

Hi, Gargie. This is quite useful, however as you mentioned in the end, I am now working and have not resigned. But I want to go on the first of January, and my visa appointment date is the 23rd of September, thus there is already a 97-day gap. Is this okay?
@@Seirasplayhouse It was pretty excellent. My appointment is in Mumbai. First, they checked my DD, which was 6800 INR. Then they told me that there was a change in the timetable, but not to worry. After an hour, they called me again from the waiting room. They then gave me a token number and a list of documents. We have to make two copies of it. The interview went smoothly. She asks me why I want to travel to Germany. What am I doing now? How will I get work there? also some questions in German basic A1 level, as I have completed A1. After answering all of my questions, she issued me a receipt and instructed me to wait 90 days.

Thank you so much for this information. Please I would like to ask proof of English ( I have ielts) is part of the requirements, but which ielts in particular? General or academic.
Hey there, they have just mention B2 IELTs scoring above 5.6-6. As per my understanding GT is just enough to communicate, However with opportunity card you would be looking out for English speaking Jobs at a global level I recommend Academic IELTS
Thanks for this valuable content. Could you please share a bonafide certificate format, as Kurukshetra university dont have any such document to show that my degree was regular. My college is not operational as well. Please share if possible.
Thank you for this and appreciate you replying to everyone queries. Do I have to take appointment date first and then submit the videx form when the appointment date is given or both has to be done simultaneously? I have submitted the appointment form around 2 months ago but haven’t received any reply.
Once you know your date of appointment you can fill the videx form accordingly In this form you must update a tentative but mostly exact date of travel (which you can only plan once you know when is your appointment and giving a min of 1 month gap from appointment date to travel date )
Nice info. Can I show my friend's residence as proof of stay for atleast 6 months instead of hotel or Air bnb etc? What proof would they ask for if its my friend's residence?
Hey Khalid, yes you can show that for complete 12 months well, all you need is a written invitation letter signed by your friend with full address with PIN code also your tentative plan date of stay
Hey, I have one question related to above one, Do we need to show the stay booking for 12 months or do we need to show it for one month and then search apartment later on?once reach germany?
@@DineshMaurya-us8yv yes Dinesh they asked me how much I know German and since I applied through option 1, I didn’t hesitate to say that I don’t but soon will start learning

Is it mandatory to resign from current organization and to fly to germany after 90 days or can we also apply from jobs from being in India? What process did you follow to get certificate stating you did regular and not distance ?
You can decide whatever is comfortable for you but know that whatever date you update in your form your visa will start from that day and end exactly in 12 months University could provide you with a Bonafide certificate or letter
Showing three months of accommodation is acceptable for Chancenkarte Visa ? I believe most of them are searching for real accommodation once after getting the visa
That’s true, initially on chancenkarte website it was mentioned to show 12 months accommodation. However I don’t see it clearly mentioned anywhere now You could explain in the motivational letter and also to visa officer that you plan to book a long term accommodation later and show financial proof to help you handle any further expenses excluding 1027 EUR requirement per month
I personally don’t know anyone who has done this…However in the VIDEX form in Travel date section you can select travel start and end date And once you place a check box for 12 months then it automatically selects visa duration of 12 months I also see there is no asterisk on 12 months check box which means it not a mandatory field So if you don’t really have sufficient funds for 12 months and you want to give this a shot you could try but it will be an experiment as no one at this point in time knows about it Also make sure you clearly mention in the motivational letter that you want to only stay for 6 months and show accommodation booking for entire 6 months Again I would say this will be an experiment to be sure you could also call embassy and check what they say
@@gargierawatt Thank you so much for your feedback, really helpful to me. I have no choice but to experiment and see how it goes. Wish me luck. 🤞🏻 And if you know anyone with experience that might have the answer to this please let them know they might have a confirmed answer. And thank you again.

To get a German licence to work as a healthcare professional (doctor, dentist, nurse, physiotherapist) you need German B2. They would also need to evaluate your qualifications. You'd be better applying to an English-speaking country or any country where you know the language.

My degree is in IT and Telecommunications and its Anerkennt in Germany. Thats means partially recognised. Since its non regulated career in Germany, and from the ZAB engineering, IT, the only way to show if its recognised its by submitting the certificate of compatibility given by ZAB. Does that also mean i fall under category 1?

Hey Gargie, God bless you for sharing really valueable information. I have compiled these questions I would appreciate if you're able to answer. 1) Was there anything that lead for them to ask payment slip from his employer and yours and other weren't asked to provide? (It is because they had fews months with a new employer or is it because they have had only one employer or is it because they have few months only experience) 2) How many months of payment slip from employer was asked the embassy (6months, 3months etc...) ? 3) What was the deadline timeline provided to you to provide these additional documents ? 4) What do you recommend for someone currently not employed. As I'm a contractor Software Engineer and not fulltime employee. I have bad experience with having career gaps rejection for University Admission and rejection to jobs. So I'm afraid that career gaps will cause curiosity and embassy/officers will be more suspecios :( while still having excellent motivation letter and overall good application. Best wishes, Dawit

Can I stay in my grandma place in germany? if yes, what document that i need to prepare?
Hey 1. You can find jobs easily in your domain of expertise In order to convert opportunity card to blue card you must have a work contract. Now why you choose to switch your industry that might need explanation with the visa officer 2. Yes you can, if she is a German citizen then have just needs to send you an invitation letter stating why should would like to support you with accommodation and her details including complete address She should sign it and post this letter to you which you can submit as proof of accommodation on the day of your visa appointment

Showing three months of accommodation is acceptable for Chancenkarte Visa ? I believe most of them are searching for real accommodation once after getting the visa
That’s true, initially on chancenkarte website it was mentioned to show 12 months accommodation. However I don’t see it clearly mentioned anywhere now
You could explain in the motivational letter and also to visa officer that you plan to book a long term accommodation later and show financial proof to help you handle any further expenses excluding 1027 EUR requirement per month
Can i apply for a duration of 6 months with blocked account with funds enough for 6 months to apply for chancenkarte?
I personally don’t know anyone who has done this…However in the VIDEX form in Travel date section you can select travel start and end date
And once you place a check box for 12 months then it automatically selects visa duration of 12 months
I also see there is no asterisk on 12 months check box which means it not a mandatory field
So if you don’t really have sufficient funds for 12 months and you want to give this a shot you could try but it will be an experiment as no one at this point in time knows about it
Also make sure you clearly mention in the motivational letter that you want to only stay for 6 months and show accommodation booking for entire 6 months
Again I would say this will be an experiment to be sure you could also call embassy and check what they say

I have compiled these questions I would appreciate if you're able to answer.
1) Was there anything that lead for them to ask payment slip from his employer and yours and other weren't asked to provide? (It is because they had fews months with a new employer or is it because they have had only one employer or is it because they have few months only experience)
2) How many months of payment slip from employer was asked the embassy (6months, 3months etc...) ?
3) What was the deadline timeline provided to you to provide these additional documents ?
4) What do you recommend for someone currently not employed. As I'm a contractor Software Engineer and not fulltime employee. I have bad experience with having career gaps rejection for University Admission and rejection to jobs. So I'm afraid that career gaps will cause curiosity and embassy/officers will be more suspecios :( while still having excellent motivation letter and overall good application.

Regarding the degree certificate , i have the degree certificate . And the i have the course completion certificate also mentioned 4years. Other than this should i get a seperate certificate ?
And after obtaining visa , will the period starts as soon the visa is stamped or when you land in germany the one year visa will start ? After obtaining visa when we should depart from india , can i start after one month or two months ? Or this period will be deducted from 1year ?
Hey there,
Yes degree certificate is enough, if they want additional supporting documents they will let you know
Please carry copy and original of your 10 th 12th certificate
Additionally carry all your college semesters mark sheet in case visa officer want to take a look
Regarding visa start date, whatever travel start date you will give in the VIDEX form your visa will start on that day

I'm planning to apply for the Opportunity Card (Germany) and hold a recognized master’s degree (18 years of education) listed in ANABIN. However, I would like to clarify a few points before submitting my application:
1. Is it mandatory to have a blocked account, a sponsor, or a job offer letter?
2. Is language proficiency proof (English/German) required, given my qualifications?
3. I am a PhD student in Malaysia and currently finalizing my thesis. I expect to complete it soon. I'm originally from Pakistan and have over six years of experience in my field. Should I apply for the Opportunity Card while in Malaysia, based on my current qualifications and experience?
Additionally, I would appreciate if you could share any other points from your experience, particularly regarding the application and interview process, that I should keep in mind before submitting my application.
Thank you! @blissful
@@israrahmad701 hey there,
If your university is H+ and your course is listed in anabin then you can directly apply through option 1
1. No, you can have anyone of the income/ financial proofs
2. No with option 1 language proficiency test results are not mandatory
3. Well as far as I know Embassy has individual websites for each country of residence and so the list of documents and conditions specific to each country must be followed. You should ideally apply via German embassy is Pakistan
However I would advise you to check with VFS or embassy to be sure
@@gargierawatt Thanks
Hello Gargie, glad to hear that you got the opportunity visa, and thank you for the valuable information.
I Have a confusion in the term "Fully Recognised Degree" --> Can you tell me what degree you have took and how you shown that it is fully recognised,
Because I have completed my Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics and i am in the relevant profession for 3 years and also when checking in anabin website, I got H+ for my university, Is it enough to be qualified in Option 1 ?
Waiting for your response, I am helpless 😢...
Hey there, I recommend watching the next video In this playlist
That would clarify your doubts
If your degree is H+ then proof of funds (12 Lakhs) is also necessary to show?
12900 euro
Yes it is mandatory requirement
If I search part time job then it is not necessary to show the block account??? Can you tell without block account how much money required??
My profession is a bottelneck profession did study gap matters ???
Hey there, study gap doesn’t matter as long as you have a clear motivational letter
Blocked account or personal savings of amount EUR 1027*12 months is required to show
If you already secure a job contract you don’t have to show many block account
However I still advise to show about EUR 1000-2000 in your bank
@@gargierawatt ok thanks for advice....i don't have a work experience but my profession is a bottelneck profession ....is that a issue....??
Can we book 1 weeks accommodation through AIR BNB and show that as a proof of accommodation for the initial days and after that I can find a hostel or rental flat
Hi Aditya, I recently got to know visa that visa is being refused if 12 months accommodation is not shown
If you plan to not book your accommodation for 12 months then at least show confirmed booking for 6 months and additional funds in your account let’s say you show EUR 1027*12 months plus 600*remaining 6 months
Otherwise high chances your visa will be rejected
Blocked account has to be opened before appearing for VFS or do they allow something like conditional visa based on blocked account?
Blocked account has to be opened and same has to be presented to the officer on the day of your appointment
You can also show a mix of your bank statements and any other savings that you could prove
Gargie, thanks nice info. Does age matters? I am 52yrs old BE Mech from prestigious Indian Institute and I just want to apply for 2-3 months visa. Can i show 3 months fund in blocked account?
Hey there, opportunity card is for job seekers
The age has no restrictions here however if you are older than 45 you get to show pension plan etc please visit India.diplo (embassy website for more information)
It will be difficult to secure opportunity card if the motivation is just to visit for few months
You could try to Schengen tourist visa that will allow you to stay for 90 days in 180 days period
Is it better to disclose in application or visa that i have close relative is already living in Germany. Is it puts negative or positive effect on application
It’s positive impact, when you fill the application form there is a section for Reference in Germany/connection to Germany.
people who don’t have any connections usually put accommodation owner’s details or In the case of students they give universities contact details
Hello, my university on Anabin is with H+- status and my degree is also present on Anabin with status corresponding to german 3 years.
Is it enough to take these 2 prints or still i need to get ZAB letter?
Hey there, if your degree is H+/- then you need to go with Option 2 which is a point based system and you are required to get ZAB recognised letter for your degree
What if current one year gap work experience, Total 11 years IT technical experience but currently not working is there any negative impact to get visa? Applied 20 days back for opportunity card waiting for slot availability, no Germany language A1 certificate. Your answer on this pls?
Hi Jay, if you have fully recognised degree then work experience and language proficiency in German is not mandatory
However it is advised to show relevant experience to increase your chances of approval
In point based system you can show last 7 years of experience gap doesn’t matter just have a strong motivational letter.
All the best 😊
Thank you so much for motivating and valuable information@@gargierawatt
@@jayapaule you’re welcome 😇
@@jayapaule Hey I have similar profile to you. I have 5+ years IT background but currently not employed. But I fear the embassy officers wouldn't like it as they would think if you're not employed here you will probably have less chance to get job in Germany. From my experience career gaps aren't well accepted when trying to apply for universities, jobs etc... so I think it might need a different approach.
what was the question asked in the embassy ?
Hello There, it solely depends on the visa officer and questions will vary for different candidates so please be prepared, please don’t ask me to leak the question paper 😬😅
Hey, thanks for sharing your experience. I have over 2+ years of work experience. I'm currently working remotely and have the privilege to work from anywhere in the world.
If I apply for an opportunity card, do I need to resign from my current organization, or is it okay if I work from Germany while simultaneously looking for a job?
I really appreciate any help you can provide.
Hi, can you please tell me whether is it possible for us to make a blocked account for 6 months, if i wish visa for 6 months? Is IELTS mandatory?
Opportunity card is for one year
So IELTS is not necessary if the degree is recognized in germany?
Yes it’s not required
How much is proof of fund, we need to show ?
12 lakhs inr
1027 eur *12 months so around 12-13 lakhs inr
Hi, I have done a polytechnic diploma in eee and holding around 4 years of work experience in the cyber security domain, am I eligible for an opportunity card if yes, will I fell into option 1 or 2 and I'm 29 , I'm good at English please revert?
Hey ! I have done my masters and done internships also currently working since 11 months i don’t have experience of 2 years and degree is also recognised can i apply for opportunity card ? i am eligible for that ?
Hey there, yes with fully recognised degree you are directly eligible
@@gargierawatt actually i checked my university is fully recognised but my course is not listed i have done masters in industrial microbiology but there is only masters in science options so what should i do ? The course is related to science only but they don’t specify
@@gargierawatt thanks for the reply ☺️
@@smritirajput2667 what about your bachelors
Please take prints of your bachelors as well and regarding your Masters course please send an email to ZAB and see what they say
Hello Gargie!
Thanks for ur video. I have a query and hope you help me with it.
I am currently a PhD student and want to apply for the opportunity Card. However, I am thinking to quit my PhD, once I got the Visa .
What do you suggest, if they ask me in interview that what am I doing ? how should I response them, should I hide my current status or explain about my PhD ?
Hello Hami, It’s always better to speak your truth, they might conduct background verification in few cases so I would advise if asked you should tell them the truth
However please write a strong motivational letter which speaks your clear intention of seeking opportunity card for Job search purposes only…
If your documentation is true I believe it’s easier to get this visa at least in 2024. All the best 👍😊
@@gargierawatt
Thanks for ur reply !
If I talk about my PhD, will they ask me for a No Objection Certificate or not ??
Also, the person who collects the documents are the same as the interviewer or they are different people??
My Degree: Bachelor of Technology is fully Recognised but my university is partially Recognised as per anabin database with a status of H+/-
Will I be considered under option 1 or 2?
If your university is h+/- then status is unknown hence you need to follow steps to recognise your degree as per option 2
Option 1 is applicable only to fully recognised university degree
You could also drop an email to ZAB and see what they advise
Could you please tell me if I make statement of comparability of my certificate it’s mean im in option 1 ? My university is H+ but my degree is not please tell me?
What degree you have & how you checked it!
Do you got Visa approval? (Y/N) and Why?
Y because I qualify and deserve it
Hi, Gargie, is that ok if i resign after getting visa stampped because what if i wont successsful ?
Yes that’s perfectly fine, please mention your travel dates accordingly in my case as well for other they have approved visa for the exact dates as mentioned in the form
My university is recognised and degree is not recognised however I recognised my degree via Zab. I can apply by option 1?
Yes absolutely 💯 with H+ university
@@gargierawatt if I can't recognize my Degree from Zab but On the basis of my university h+ can i still elgible for option 1?
I did be ece in recognised university
But i am working in IT, having 5 yrs of experience.
Can i opt for option 1
Hello Logesh, IT is one of the bottleneck profession where Germany is facing skilled workers shortage hence chances are higher for you to get the visa
Please prepare a good motivational letter where you can mention why you were inclined towards IT than ece
At the interview they will ask you whether your work experience is in the same field as your education at least I was asked
For option 1, a fully recognised degree is mandatory requirement which you fulfill so yes you can opt for Option 1. Additionally if you add German language that will be a plus
Thanks for the info, i also heard about these docs.
Which is mandatory if our maekseet doens't have a word about whether we studied fulltime or distance education.
The embassy may ask you to submit a bonafide from your university stating the course you completed is regular or distant
@@gargierawatt Thx
That’s fine if can show as a financial resource my indian bank statement with 12 or 13 lacs or it is necessary to do block account?
@@sagarchauhan97 Hi Sagar, I have just uploaded a video explaining just this
Please do watch it in case you still have doubts let me know
Congratulations Gargie !
& thanks for sharing your experience which helps others.
I am waiting for my turn now. Need your suggestions
1) you mentioned about a letter from university.
- did you get that from ur clg or university ?
- did you get the transcripts as well or just a letter to confirm your course was full time ? Can you help me with the format
2) along with accommodation, Did u also get the health insurance for all 12 months ?
Thanks Sandy
1. It’s only required if it’s not mentioned in your degree certificate
If you do need this letter the visa officer will let you know and you can approach your university and ask for Bonafide they will have a template as since 2015 UGC has made it mandatory for the university to mention it clearly on degree certificates.
No I wasn’t asked for transcripts
2. Yes a health insurance is mandatory requirement on the day of your appointment for 12 months plus travel insurance for first few weeks because your health insurance will take some time to be activated
All the best, cheers
@@gargierawattalright.
Thank you.
And i must appreciate your speed of replying..😊
Oo. I just checked my degree certificate, it doesn’t mention “Regular”.
So its better i get the Bonafide as you mentioned.
Q again…
1) Should i approach my college or the University ?
2) Same is the case with my higher education certificate. Do i need to get a bonafide for masters as well or may not be required since the basic education requirement (degree) will be confirmed as regular. What’s your view ?
@@sandypatil125 1. University
2. You’re right that basic requirement is Bachelors however one of my subscribers was asked to show bonafide for his masters and not bachelors
So I guess your highest qualification is counted
I have a degree in Computer Science, and my course was in English. I have 16 years of education. If I get an 'English Proficiency Certificate' from my university, will that be sufficient? Kindly guide me #opportunitycard
