    Thanks so much for sharing this! I never even thought of taking apart the porcelain dolls! I just want to plant some plants in them....not scary at all....in my opinion anyway.....thanks again!

    Awesome..I’ve been looking for creepy ideas as I decorate my son’s old room. He recently moved out and this popped into my my to do some creepy dolls as decor…I have 5 of them so far but these planters will be a great addition to the room after I repaint the room 🖤

    Great work!
    Did you add a very small vessel inside the head to place the little plant cuttings and the water?

    Hi, love the planters!! I made some too unfortunately most of my porcelain doll heads don't have a hole on top.. so I was wondering how to make a hole, how would you have done that..?

    What did you plug the neck opening with for the planter? Thanks!

      I just packed the soil in really tightly at the base and it stayed for years but you could also stick some wire mesh in the bottom to keep it a little more stable

    Hey, its amazing. I really want to do that :D Can you please tell me if heads have the "bottom" do the soil wouldnt go right thru it?

    • @brookedarwin
      @brookedarwin  3 года назад +1

      I just sort of packed the soil at the bottom and it hasn't shed at all but you can also add a piece of mesh wire or fabric to the inside if you'd like it to be more secure.

    Hi! I love your stuff! I saw one of your videos where it looked like the doll was crying. Was that just because the plant had just been watered or was there a trick? Thank you!

    • @brookedarwin
      @brookedarwin  3 года назад

      That was just the water finding its way out of the eye holes, no trick just a thorough watering.

    How did you get the eyebrows off? When I saw your video I knew I had to make one! I’m currently working on one now and don’t want to mess it up lol

    • @brookedarwin
      @brookedarwin  3 года назад

      The acetone/rubbing alcohol you use to clean the glue off should also take the face paint away you may just have to give it some elbow grease. So glad you’re making one!

    Hello! Does the plant survive for long? Is it a good planter on the long term or is it more of a temporary decoration?

    • @brookedarwin
      @brookedarwin  3 года назад

      Hi! I intended this as a temporary halloween decoration but she's still going strong after all these months. Most of the original leafs have shed after vining out so now she's full of smaller trailing leaves.

    What do we do if the top of the heads are foam? I came across one with like a hard plastic top.

    • @brookedarwin
      @brookedarwin  4 года назад +1

      Sometimes they are foam and sometimes plastic, you can just pop that off the same way, you might need a butter knife to pry it off and there should be a hole in the top of the head.

      @@brookedarwin okay one last question, what did you add to the bottom of the head, so that the soil doesn’t fall out.
