Jeff Mills is so far out there. He has this incredible vision for letting tracks evolve and shift in subtle but compelling ways. Just listen to how stripped-down and simple this set sounds, and yet there are so many nuances and rhythmic details that keep it interesting. To me this music is really brave.

ah the old software/hardware debate rages. I prefer the gear but if you know what you're doing you can do pretty much the same w software. Difference being you dont got the knobs for tweaking! But thats where you get a controller..

ok this is utterly boring, the only reason why I watched most of it is because it has a tr 909 in it, but the dude builds up and than nothing, its a slur of rhythm which is fine if you drop to something heavy as sh*T but this doesnt do the job, look at the crowd...how the hell did this guy get booked, I know i know... Jeff Mills, but reall? watch it again and tell me when your asleep
