Welcome to the Letterman RUclips Channel, home to all your favorite clips from Late Night and Late Show - as well as conversations with the writers, producers and performers who helped make it all happen. These highlights have been artisanly-produced, carefully-curated, and chosen completely at random by an old computer that used to pick numbers for the New York Lotto back in the 90’s.
It's really amusing to see Max Weinberg on a different late night show...
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Danny and Clarence, oh man.
Yeah, don't even tell me.
20 years later the guy is heading back out on another international tour. No one better than The Boss!!!!!!!!
Been waiting since before Covid for it.
And we'll be there in February 2023 in Portland Oregon. SO EXCITED
"...On my back's a sixty pound stone, on my back's a half mile of line"
and now Sam Ryan is a father and a firefighter ❤️
This amazing performance was during the tragic aftermath of 911. I remember the safe and comforting feeling seeing the entire band on this night. It was a reassurance from someone we all loved and we felt really good for the first time that year.
This song was an essential post-9/11 morale booster!
Great to see Danny and Clarence alive and well.
One of the best performances ever of the Rising
Agree and I've seen many. Damn, he acted like it was the last song he'd ever play.
New York needed this song
we'll always have Lillyhammer...
shoutout to max weinberg
Thanks Bruce for all the great music you and the band do every time you put albums out you are great thank u.
America needs you again to write another song to help us heal from the violence from guns by please writing a song about the violence going on in America's school s we need you to show the world that we will not live in fear by a gun.
Oh this is awesome. Reminds me of the CD I bought in the bargain bin of a local record store, Live on Letterman: Music From the Late Show. Any chance to upload videos from that disc would be awesome. That CD, this upload, and every other performance always sounded top notch 👍
Sounds immense. Looking forward to bruce european tour
Miss Late Night memories -- thanks for letting us revisit them again and thanks for all the laughs, man!
This tour was the first time I saw him live... I couldn't get tickets to see him in the UK, then I missed out on France and in the end, I wound up flying to Columbia, SC just to watch this concert and then flew back home a few hours later!
It is funny that in the mid 80s through this album, Bruce seemed to become obsessed with synth driven ostinatos in his music.
MAX WEINBERG!
20 years later tour tickets are no longer affordable for the working man like they used to be. Thank you Ticketmaster UK.
Great clip. Thank you. Do miss Clarence The Big Man though.
can't believe 20 years ago
THANKS 😄
I remember there were so many funerals that Vancouver firefighters traveled to New York to provide honor guards
A great song ❤
