    Okay, took me longer than five minutes. And I think since I don’t have a pro account for Canva, I had to “make adjustments”. But, I did finally get something on using beach stuff. And it turned out cute. If you are a 6-8 year old girl, you would love them. Thanks for letting us know how to do this.

    Wow that was really interesting, I learnt a few things there. Main thing I learnt is that in Red Bubble, I thought when you upload a design that was the design you had to go with for all designs. I didn't know you could change the design for each item the way u did . Saves a lot of time of disabling items for me now and then having to go back to uploading new images.
    Thankyou for this video.

    • @djstumpy7399
      @djstumpy7399 3 года назад

    • @MeyTribe
      @MeyTribe  3 года назад +2

      It was shocking to me how many people just never tried clicking on that button of uploading a new design per product... It's totally ok to have these different files- as long as they "make sense"- so, if you have a hearts pattern, you can't have a tshirt that is a dog (for example)

    Really great ideas. I had no idea you could change the designs and make sets. I am learning everyday. I have just started on Redbubble.

    • @MeyTribe
      @MeyTribe  2 года назад +1

      RedBubble has a lot of options that people don't always notice (Like editing baby and kids clothing from the first tshirt design- that needs to be activated from tshirt settings)
      It's a great place to start practicing your product design concepts- but also a place that has limits, and hard to bring traffic in. So, once you find your style or the products you like, it's recommended to move on to working with other suppliers and your own shop :)

    • @MeyTribe
      @MeyTribe  2 года назад

      It does take a bit of practice to design faster... I usually create designs like these in 2-3 minutes, maybe 5. It took me more as I was explaining it (it's actually rather weird for me, at least it was back then, to design while talking LOL I often found myself when i started the channel designing something and having to do it all over again- as I was so into a design that I forgot to explain what I was doing LOL)
      I totally get how these cool tricks make people wanna post on RB, just remember- all of your designs that are not very keyword based (and even the ones that are)- still need to be marketed for you to actually earn money from selling them.

      You have no way of controlling, and most of the time even KNOWING, if someone else copied from you.
      You can trademark designs, but that's a costly matter.
      If the design that was copied from you was copied pixel per pixel you can file a claim, though - you might not always be able to find that copy.

I am one of those that have like 7-10 items in a sticker pack. :P I know the small one will make those really small but if they order larger size stickers then the individual stickers won't be so small. I have a van that I decorate myself... I have been seriously considering buying some of my own stickers in super large to put on my van. :D I need to do a dragon though as I really want a dragon on my van. - Heidi

    Question... are you sure you can use canva pro designs? Yesterday I watched you tube video where man said, that if you are a pro subscriber and you use canva pro graphics, you can use them on multiple unlimited designs but only if you create unique designs with these graphics. You have to make it your own, change color, add text. He contacted canva customer support.
    This is from canva FAQ: Can I sell products or merchandise with my design on it?
    Yes! All of our photos, fonts and graphics can be used to create designs for printing on products for sale (like t-shirts, mugs, books and other merchandise). Please note, you can’t sell standalone prints of Canva content, such as a printout of a stock photo(without any other design elements) on a t-shirt.
    By using content in a design, you’re creating something unique - once you do, there are very few restrictions on what you can do with your creations. Go wild! However,
    standalone content (e.g. a photo used on its own without any other design elements) has restrictions - for example, it can’t be printed on products or merchandise for sale.

    This is excellent I could have so much fun with this I love creating I could do it all day what I like to see in the future is what not to sale when you have canva pro because I have a lot of t-shirts that I thought were safe to sale because when they say commercially I thought that means you can sell also so I will double check to make sure they are ok.

    Awesome video. Thanks for it. Just 1 question. Do Canva allow us to make designs in CMYK mode? because for printing the designs needs to be made with CMYK color mode

    • @MeyTribe
      @MeyTribe  2 года назад

      Canva is a tool for online graphic creators, and works with RGB... You can use an online CMYK conversion tool to convert files... I personally sold a lot of designs with RGB, and most of the items I ordered with RGB came out perfect (like the tote bags and tshirts). Socks have to have CMYK...
      Though at the moment- I am doing neither, as I left RB few weeks ago, and no longer make tutorials for them, sorry :(

      @@MeyTribe Thanks for the detailed reply. So sad you left RB. Your designs were too good to be true.

    Thanks for saying that a t shirt color can’t be deactivated. I’m such a beginner that even little things like that helps. Now I’m not wondering if I’m missing something and doing something wrong.

      I totally get what you're saying, I know a lot of other RB sellers that don't know where the baby clothes are, or that you can replace designs within each design per product.
      I have made a video in the beginning of the year about "why are your RB products not selling" that has a lot of mistakes mentioned in it- might be useful -
      ruclips.net/video/5tpb4OAZCDQ/видео.html
      And I'm also working on a new one "how to be successful on RedBubble"

    I love your channel. You are doing an awesome job with it. I seem to have issues with designing in Canva and trying to put my designs on Zazzle towels, shower curtains, blankets etc. My designs show up as square boxes or I can fill most of the product but the design will not be able to fill the entire product. If I am able to get it to fill the entire blanket, It leaves the message that my designs will fit but it will turn out blurry. I use a 5000x5000 template but that does not work. I use 71.25" x71.25" for the shower curtain design, however, Canva doesn't allow that size. I am not sure what I am doing wrong to put my designs on larger items. Is it possible to do a video on the do's and don'ts with file sizes and how to use the correct sizes for small, medium and large products?

    I know I left you a comment already (in another person's comment lol), but this was sooo helpful and easy! I love the simple, honest way you explain things for us! Thank you again. Just started my RB shop, and even watching this after making a couple designs, I realized mistakes I made w/things that weren't patterns, that I will fix. I was wondering, I know you sell your own artwork on items, but have you ever sold any kind of photograph work, or know anything about it? I was just curious, because I was gonna look into that maybe sometime as well, but don't have a clue about dimensions, and how a photo might transfer over to items....anyway, thanks again for all you do!

      Photography on RedBubble I haven't really seen people succeed in that, only when they violated copyrights and sold photos from movies and of celebs. I think that FAA might be better suited for photography,
      There are 2 videos about them :
      ruclips.net/video/BWPsEFQPTHc/видео.html
      and Part 2 that also includes the option to sell the photo files:
      ruclips.net/video/87mCATdKSOk/видео.html
      With photography I also know a lot of photographers that make a shop on Etsy, either with a print on demand supplier, or selling printable wall art of their photos.
