- My Friends and I took a trip to the Mountain Man Rendezvous in West
Yellowstone. We saw and talked to a variety of interesting people who enjoy dressing up, camping, and selling their wares to the public. The booth owners were showing and selling everything from various animal hides and skins, tools they have created themselves, a knapping demonstration, beadwork, quill work, hand made jewelry and soap, a blacksmith demo, and much more.
I spend 365 days a year traveling in my 1997 Dodge Roadtrek campervan, enjoying life on the road, time with the wonderful friends I've made along the way, and the beautiful sights this country has to offer.

Definitely some interesting things I love the leather works. Thought some things looked a little pricey.
I'd say most of it was pricey for me. The people and their products were interesting though. It was a good day with friends!

Hello @Mrs.Adventure! The interview with Sooner JH Travels was fun. The Mountain Man Rendezvous was a lot of fun. I believe this one is an annual event near West Yellowstone.
I wish there were some rendezvous in Arizona. I went to one as a kid and I haven't seen any since. It was a Kit Carson thing at Ben Avery shooting range.
I was surprised at how much fun it was and so many interesting people. I believe they have this one near Yellowstone yearly. I also found an annual one in Oklahoma.

Thank you for taking us around this Mountain Man Rendezvous. We have nothing like this in OZ. The range of hand made period clothing, tools and shooting gear was amazing! I would have made many purchases if I'd been there! I don't even think we have had a gun show in the last 3 years of the COOF!
I am just getting back into muzzle loading and need to replace a lot of the shooting gear and clothing that I foolishly sold about 30 years ago when I gave up muzzleloading and period camping.
