After reading the BTS book "Beyond the Story," this performance gives me so much pride and enjoyment. Performing MIC Drop in front of other idols, especially 2nd generation K-pop idols, is so satisfying to watch.
Yoongi and hobi are fucking legends in this one for me… jungkook is my ult ever but something about these two in this song specifically hits so different for me lol rm is always amazing and I love love love his rap… but something about sope that is just everything… their energy is so aggressive…. I like aggressive swag bts and hope we get some song like this in the future!!!
They were so exhausted by this point in the performance. I stayed up, live streaming into the wee hours, watching this and I regret nothing. One of the best performances ever, and certainly at an awards show. They were just about to explode on the international scene at the time. Ah, yes, it was amazing.
