    Dear Lucinda,
Your words have been a source of healing for me. Last night, I struggled to sleep, and this morning, tears welled up as I beseeched God, questioning the challenges faced by my family and me. I felt anger towards the unjust system. I have two disabled children, and my budget is too tight to hire a lawyer, as I haven't found one willing to take federal employee cases on a contingency basis. Even though my case has merit, the uncertain outcome from the EEOC adds to my worries. I know that my agency's actions are unlawful and contravene employment regulations, but I'm uncertain if the law will protect me as a vulnerable federal employee, especially as someone who speaks English as a second language. Sometimes, I struggle to comprehend legal terms and phrases, but I've been learning a lot over the past 1.5 years. However, I feel better now after watching your video. It rekindled my spirit, helping me rediscover myself, and I've resolved that there's no other option but to keep moving forward.

Hi. You believe that the agency's actions are unlawful. You understand the law that is applicable, right? You can articulate (relying on facts) how the agency violated the law, right? That's half the battle. The other half would be packaging your story and getting it to the court and convincing the court that it should find the agency liable.
Would you mind answering whether you have filed a lawsuit or not. If you have, in what stage are you? I'd appreciate it.

      @@advocatelucinda Dear Lucinda,
Thanks for your responding on my comment. I filed a formal retaliation complaint in October last year with my agency’s EEO office. I was subjected to two adverse actions within a month, and I amended that accordingly. My agency partially accepted my claims ( majority of them were accepted) in March 2023. Even though I received an acknowledgment from them for my ammendment, the acceptance letter does not indicate them as ammendment but were accepted. The investigation was done at the end of June 2023. However, I requested my EEOC hearing after 180 days from filing my formal complaint. So the Report of Investigation was provided almost three months after I requested the hearing. The AJ was assigned after ROI was received. She just sent an acknowledgment order without any schedules and dates in July. In September we were ordered to participate in a mediation, but no agreements were reached because the agency basically did not wanted to offer any sort of relief or even offering a position. My demand was calculated based on facts and was really well justified ( with tables, charts, historical, etc). Then there was another incident, which I had to file a motion for it (followed thr applicable laws) and in my opinion is well justified. One day after I filed the motion, AJ issued an order for an IC which is three weeks and hopefully discovery will start after that.
      Thanks,

I agree this is a painful process especially when the defense attorney is a narcissist and dosen't respond to your complaint which is a default but with Jehovah god and patience anything is possible.

Hang in there. Do ALL you can to “care for yourself, mentally and physically” while you’re in the process. I’m going through it right now, two years strong. With the law on my side, with clean hands, and determination to keep going, the appeals court just ruled in my favor. Researched, drafted, and presented all of my pleadings alone, and worked everyday to pay my bills, etc. Meditate and pray often, too.

After the magistrate judge and (2) district court judges colluded to obstruct my Section 1983 suit against a chief judge, I just received the opinion and judgment from the appeals court. The panel of 3 appeals court judges ruled in my favor, VACATED the first district court's dismissal, and REMANDED back to the district court. They're now deciding the other appeal against the judge who violated my civil rights under Section 1983 (wherein magistrate tried to impede my suit/shield her fellow corrupt judge). Im 100% pro se and no attormey has helped me, except The Empowerment Lawyer.
    It's getting very interesting here...

Thank you so much for the information you provide. Been pro se in my case against a public entity. It’s been difficult but I’m hanging in there. Case has been going on for over 4 years. How do you find a legal consultant?

Hi. Google "limited assistance representation attorneys" in your state. Or, contact your state bar and ask for a list of LAR attorneys. Best.
