The amount you use the lights does not raise the cost of the bills. The bills in The Sims 4 are determined by the amount of items in your lot, not how much you use them.
So it’s pointless to turn them off
Not A RUclipsr That's false. Auto-lights has always lowered the bills for my Sims.
Some tips:
1. Whenever you go into labor go to the hospital with Chelsea because her needs will all go up plus you will get a birth certificate (you don’t get one if you don’t join her)
2. Get rid of the high chair you can just feed them on the floor without the hassle of putting them in & out of the high chair all the time (so annoying when they cry to be let out when you are in the middle of doing something else)
3. Chelsea should also learn to paint or garden to earn more money on the side
4. Get a bathtub/shower so Chelsea can shower & bathe her toddlers
5. Make party sized meals so you don’t have to make individual meals all the time
6. Sell the bassinet after every time a baby ages up so you can earn a little money from that (you always get a new one for free when you have another baby)
7. Get the trash can that gives you 10 simeoleons per person in the household when you throw away trash

Kelsey, you should have Chelsea cook mass amounts of food ( like party size ) of foods, that way when she sleeps, you can pull it out of the fridge and the kids can eat while she’s sleeping (can you guys like this so kelsey sees??)
That's an idea I'll have to keep in mind next time I play Sims.
I was going to post the same thing. People don’t realize that toddlers can eat adult food. They don’t need to be in the high chair. It’s SO much easier!

Tips:
1. Make a family/party serving of food and leave it on the counter for the toddlers to eat (sell the high chair)
2. Pregnant sims can’t die
3. Get the decoration box and scavenge for decorations (you can sell them for money
4. At christmas (or any day) you should get the pile of presents because you might get something you can sell
5. Showers take less time than baths, maybe get a combo?
6. Save up for a better bed so your sim needs to sleep less
7. Get the lot trait that gives you a better chance of having twins, the toddler one and the good schools one
8. Always sell the free basinett because it gives you money

@@Htx.lunatic that's my guess, yes. I can't remember which, but being around children causes sims with that trait to either get the Angry or the Tense moodlet (I think it's Tense). Sergio makes pretty babies though, I always use him when I play a baby challenge save.

So here’s i tip I found is that if you cook a bunch of food ahead of time, when your sim is asleep you can drag the food out of the fridge and the toddler can get the food themselves. That way the parent sim can still sleep
Sophia Danielle i was gonna suggest that too. Way more efficient. Also, don't use the high chair, just let the toddlers eat on the floor.
But that would be way too easy and not very challenging

*havent read the rules but this stuff should be okay*
1. Wabbit tablet, it teaches them all the skills they need to level up; I'd say 1 per 2 tots.
2. NO HIGHCHAIR, just make multi serving meals, leave it on the counter or a low table, have toddler grab serving.
3. Coffee pot for when you cant sleep.
4. Tub/shower combo, fast showers for Chelsea, baths for the kids.
You'll also want to expand the kids room/remove walls for all the beds, and buy more toddler toilets (roughly 1 for every 2 kids).
I did the 7 toddler challenge this way, no cheats, sold paintings, and survived, lol. But I've always wanted to do the 100 baby challenge (but I'd cheat like a mad hatter 😂). And I'm totally submitting a baby daddy, lol.

Honestly it's easier to cook a big meal and put it in the fridge. When the toddlers get hungry you can drag it out for them and they can grab a plate. It will probably be a lot easier than Chelsea having to constantly put them in and out of the high chair. Ty to invest in a shower/tub combo. That way you can still bathe the children but Chelsea can have quick showers. Although, having a bubble bath is a way to make Chelsea's fun go up as she gets clean.

Tip 1: get rid of the high chair, it’s garbage and you don’t need it. Just make large platters of food and your toddlers can get them on their own
Tip 2: save up money for a better bed so your sim’s energy goes up faster
Tip 3: woo-hoo with the guy a couple of times right before trying for baby. It increases your chance of having twins or triplets.

Weird Toast yeah, randomgamer read it. Woo-hoo doesn’t have a chance to have a baby, last I checked, so you’d only get pregnant if you click “try for baby”, which is a different command. The rule is 1 guy-1 pregnancy, so no reason this shouldn’t work.

Love this series already! You should start gardening dragon fruits because it's simple and you can get lots of money.
You don't need a highchair! They can eat on the ground or on their beds. You should make like 3 party sized meals a head of time so if your busy you can set it on the ground and let the toddler pick up a plate and then put it back in the fridge.

Pro-tips: (From a Sims 3 player, who has semi does this challenge before, but am unfamiliar with what features stayed in the Sims 4)
- after confirming you are pregnant, ask to "just be friends" with the baby daddy; if you have enough romantic interests you haven't ended it with, you'll get the "naughty" reputation which will make it harder to find guys willing to become love interests in the long run (until you find a way to wipe your slate clean)
- once you find a potential love interest, LOCK YOUR DOORS to everyone outside your household. This way, they can't leave and will sometimes, (hopefully) even help out around the house while you catch up on Chelsea's needs. (Some even take care of the children because chances are, they are also hungry/sleepy and want them to just quite down!) free babysitter!
- if you can, wait a little bit for your firstborns to grow up. This way children will go to school, leaving you free to take care of the younger children. The older they get they also start helping out with the younger children! (Just like in real life, ohhhh lord)
- also, is the pregnancy test really necessary? That's $15 down the drain, and (in sims 3 at least), they find out within the next day on their own.

They took away the reputation thing in the sims 4 so no need to ask them to just be friends, this way it also helps you keep track of who you've already had a baby with and can't use again. It starts getting really hard the more kids you have XD

Aw I'm rewatching this challenge, and its so cute how little you knew about taking care of the toddlers, and seeing little baby Olive as a baby again. So cute.
Loving this! 3 tips - 1) instead of high chairs just make large meals so the toddlers can feed themselves, 2) get the toddlers tablets for fun and skill building and keeping them occupied longer, and 3) have Chelsea start a garden or do something creative on top of writing to earn more money.

Kelsey, I have some things that might make gameplay a bit easier. Precook party size foods and you can drag the food out of the fridge and the kids can grab a serving themselves. Another thing is buy a coffee maker! It really helps. Also, garden!! It’s simple and it doesnt take too long, and if you choose the right vegetables you can make lots of money!

Sell the non-essentials so instead of two counters for the bathroom you have one with a cheap mirror and if you save up and get the toy chest (the cheapest one) you will get all the toys which can be used over and over, and set the lights on auto to save money.

Your toddlers can get food for themselves if you put a plate of food somewhere they can reach. Just a tip, if Chelsea is busy and the kids are hungry you can drag some leftovers out of the fridge and they can grab a serving.

Suggestions:😁
- You should age up the kids so you have one of each age group at a time! 🥳It will make it a lot easier, especially if you only have one toddler at a time considering they are the most difficult to deal with.👍🏻 Also don’t forget to put up Jamie’s birth certificate!
- You should get a bath-shower. You can get baths that have a shower built in, this will be helpful as you won’t have to worry about having long baths 😩(and not being able to clean the kids!) 🤣
- LOCK THE DOORS! If you click on the front door it will come up with lock options, you can set it to just you so you don’t get any unexpected visitors🤣 Also this way the kids can’t escape! 🤪as a side note, it looks like the back door isn’t really a door, but a open arch way!? Maybe think about replacing it... for the same reasons as above.
- Set the lights to auto lock. I know there are a few people saying this, but it really does help reduce bills. (Which I believe you are due to pay- just click on the mailbox- it’s the easiest way in my opinion).😊
- get a toy box! Again I know there are a few people saying this, but it is a lot more cost efficient in the long run, as you won’t have to keep buying copious amounts of toys.😝
Of course these are just suggestions, but I think they will make this challenge a bit easier for you! Good luck!😊💕

I’m about 20 babies in to the challenge and i have A LOT of tips:
you can age up toddlers after they reach level 3 in all skills, so i usually just have them grind their skills on the ipad all day lol. having multiple toddlers is so hard!
i just have the mom make large servings of food and store them in the fridge and take them out for the toddlers to just grab (so that they aren’t stuck in the high chair and the mom doesn’t need to stop what she’s doing)
painting is a great way to make money and it’s super easy to level up, writing is good too.
the fertility aspiration trait is 3,000 , and i also set my lot traits to on ley lane and child’s play, and the other one is something that makes painting or writing easier!
drop any other tips below! i’m still learning and am currently taking a break because having 7 children at a time shitting their pants and crying all the time is super frustrating LMAO
