This was awesome we don,t have any wide open space up here to view in such a way you have done down there. Love the spot called Shawmut siding. The land is so wide open you can the trains for miles and miles!!....again well done!!
Love your viewing spots near the first of the video. You can see the whole train in its entirety. The one spot there where show the train heading east you can see the other one 20 or 30 miles off in the distance. Well done I enjoyed watching this very much thanks for sharing with us!!!
My favorite part of this video is the Amtrak Sunset Limited #2 at 9:18 mark. And in the very next scene which I think is the best one, you can see the line running parallel with I-10 and you can just barely see the Sunset Limited in background.
Wow! Super catches! I have a new love - the Lackawanna unit is killer gorgeous! Thanks so much for the effort needed to produce this for us! . . . Diana
ken Hi great fanning, my expirerence with railroading was with the CPR in Kenora ont Canada when I was apprenticeing for a fireman when I was 15 , my job was to light up cold engines after a few weeks I had to take a medical exam and that’s when I found out I was Color blind so there went my career on the railroad the next year I joined the Navy as a stoker, and after war I worked as a stationary engineer in various steam plants until I retired at 60 I am now 91 but I never lost my love for the railroad,I built a G scale model garden railroad in the yard and enjoyed it for several years. I really enjoy all the railfanning on utube keep up the great work .
Great stuff, awesome scenery. How is the switching done for the side tracks? Where's the remote office that controls all of that? I guess the sided train knows his length and how far to pull up. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to shoot and sharing!
Yes, what Sony cam camera are you using as the images are nice and sharp and when I stop the recording of a box car I can read the graffiti, well that is a lie as who few can read graffiti sharp and clear.as the camera catches it. FFS, optical zoom. or just model number.
Awesome work! What kind of video camera do you use? The color and detail looks amazing! Also I was using RUclips Editor which RUclips just shut that site down so I'm looking for a free or $ movie maker to make more RUclips videos and was wonder what you used?

The army train rocked! What’s nice is now I’ll have something to watch when I’m in a freakin long boring assembly at school.
