Never let him find out about Guttural Slug lmao if you don’t know who they are listen to Megalodon it is the heaviest Slam metal I’ve ever heard (Almost all screaming no words but the guitar and drum work is awesome and umm once you appreciate how hard it is to do the vocals they are also insane for a 15 and 17 year old people who made the album)
Bro as far as reactors go this dude deserves way more views. His energy as well as his reading the lyrics and being honest etc. I'm a fan bro and you right that's a MF CB!!!!
Slipknot really stands out in not only quality but pure aggression in metal, especially when they were "in their prime" aka their first 3-4 albums. They made the genre about as mainstream as it has ever been, and for good reason! RIP Paul and Joey 🤘
Go react to "The Devil in I". I grew up with this band, hearing them for the first time in middle school. I'm not saying I substituted this for therapy, but this band was absolutely therapy for me.
By far my favorite song by Slipknot - way to do an awesome song, it’s been a while. I said it before, I’ll say it again - do Rise Against! You’ll like a lot of their songs!
Slipknot has been somewhere at the top of my favorites since this song was released. I was instantly hooked back then and your energy now was much appreciated! I got to see them live in 2003 or 2004 and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Looking forward to more but I'll let you know that there were definitely some hip-hop elements more widely used in their first album (Self-titled) which this song was on. Their second album (Iowa) they intentionally made it very hard and dark which is where Disasterpiece was from. Their third album had a lot of mainstream success because the band used more melody in their hooks (chorus) and the songs that got the most attention were more widely accepted because the choruses were catchier I guess you could say. The original drummer, Joey Jordison, died a few years ago and if you listen to more you'll see the masterful percussion that really set Slipknot apart from other bands. Not only Joey, there are other percussionists that play other things like Clown using a 5 gallon steel drum on many tracks. Oh and there are 9 members in Slipknot (you might find the first album being titled as a number which is 0-9 (not in numerical order) because they each have a number which you would see on their iconic jumpsuits.
Agree with you Rob, I love it when there's some softer singing in there too, I think it actually enhances the harder bits. Mudvayne are another great band for that. I recommend "Death Blooms", "Dig" (although that is pretty much all hard). "Happy" is a more mainstream song of theirs too with a bit more melody. Always great to see your energy, awesome start to 2025!
Ahhhhhh RobTV is back, always love your takes on music. Always honest. I listen to see if you don't like the music because no one else does that. Keep on rockin in 2025.
Dude I binged all these reaction videos for a full night last week I can't get enough of the energy! Absolutely dying to see you react to NIN sometime, I think you'd really dig them or at least find some interesting things to appreciate.
Theres actually 2 versions of this song. in the radio edit the singer doesn't scream as much. I like this version better but it's still interesting to have the same music and lyrics with a different vibe.
As always, your energy in these reviews is awesome. You, my friend are a C B! This song was the one that got me into Slipknot and has been my fave ever since. Until they did „Nero Forte“. When that song comes up in my car, dude this is blasting full volume thru the whole neighborhood! 🤘🏼🫨 Have you reacted to it yet? Wondering how you would escalte to it 🤯🤯🤯
He sounds a bit like Megatron. 🔥 in certain parts. Lol. This is one of my favorite songs after becoming a fan. A Slipknot fan was always playing the music and I found myself enjoying it second hand. ⭐️
Honestly the entire Self Titled Album (aka, Slipknot) is a banger. Its got everything I love about the band - weird and all (Prosthetics for example is a hard listen if you're not into it).
100k subs??? Wow, i remember seeing the how to counter Seth video when he came out in SFV and thinking "this guy is kinda good" lmao, guess i was right. Anyway, did you listen to some KoRn already? There's a video of the drummer (David Silvera) playing Chi, that things is amazing
It helps to look at metal vocals like learning a new language. You don't understand what they are saying because you are trying to process a lot of new sounds you haven't had a lot of exposure to before. The more you hear it, the more you will start to become familiar with it. Pretty soon you will know what they are saying with no issue at all, it's just a matter of your exposure and openness to it. I've listened to metal for as long as I can remember, but noticed how friends that I would introduce to it would go from "wtf did he say?" to being able to quote their favorite lyrics after only one play through. Children pick up language through the same process. You'll get there 😁
If you're ever looking for something a bit different but still relevant, try Florence+The Machine. Florence Welch is one of the best vocalists I've ever heard. Some favorites include, "Big God," "Bedroom Hymns," "Delilah," "Hunger," "King," "Free." Those are just a few, don't wanna overwhelm you, but her voice is so phenomenal.
Scream avenged sevenfold, bat country avenged sevenfold, nightmare avenged sevenfold, blind korn, the dying song slipknot, sonne rammstein(german metal band), spiders system of a down, IEAIAIO system of a down, and hypnotize system of a down. all really good songs
their early stuff is some crazy sounding white people shit, but like this one, they got a handful of pretty melodic ones you can sing to without getting confused about whats happening
A ton of their music is themed/directed by their anger towards the label companies. The pain, anger and bullshit perpetuated by the label admin, in addition to to other personal issues.
Rob at 1:28: "...you ain't gotta be god-dang screaming and growling..."
Me, knowing where the song's about to go: 🤭
lmao i was about to make the same comment except i would put "umm yeah about that, wait like 20 more seconds..."
I thought it was funny he raised his voice to say that n immediately realized n regained his composure 😂
Straight up! 😂
Finally more Slipknot!!!
Bro as far as reactors go this dude deserves way more views. His energy as well as his reading the lyrics and being honest etc. I'm a fan bro and you right that's a MF CB!!!!

I grew up with this band, hearing them for the first time in middle school. I'm not saying I substituted this for therapy, but this band was absolutely therapy for me.
Welcome to the Slipknot Family, Rob! Looking forward to riding shotgun with you on your journey through the catalog. The well is deep!
By far my favorite song by Slipknot - way to do an awesome song, it’s been a while.
I said it before, I’ll say it again - do Rise Against! You’ll like a lot of their songs!

Keep it up Big Hollywood!!! Keep pumping ‘em out! Good shit bro.
Man, I hope you start going down some metal rabbit holes. Tool and Gojira both would be gold. Either way, I hit that subscribe button!
Rob you gotta check out No Life(being a huge hip hop fun this one is a must), Eeyore, and Get This, on this same album.
Dude I binged all these reaction videos for a full night last week I can't get enough of the energy! Absolutely dying to see you react to NIN sometime, I think you'd really dig them or at least find some interesting things to appreciate.
Heck yeah! Keep doing slipknot reactions please! ❤

Theres actually 2 versions of this song. in the radio edit the singer doesn't scream as much. I like this version better but it's still interesting to have the same music and lyrics with a different vibe.

Have you reacted to it yet? Wondering how you would escalte to it 🤯🤯🤯
You have already reacted to the hardest Slipknot songs, except of one - "People = Shit". Do it, Rob! It kicks listeners' asses
I would love to see you react to Eeyore. This is definitely a banger
He sounds a bit like Megatron. 🔥 in certain parts. Lol. This is one of my favorite songs after becoming a fan. A Slipknot fan was always playing the music and I found myself enjoying it second hand. ⭐️

Не могу поверить что люди не слышали этот шедевр хотя бы раз в жизни.
I love this song! ☮️💜🤘🔥
Banger!
4:57 Bro was feelin’ it 😂
Honestly the entire Self Titled Album (aka, Slipknot) is a banger. Its got everything I love about the band - weird and all (Prosthetics for example is a hard listen if you're not into it).
So, can we get a reaction to History of Misheard lyrics for this song as well? I think it'd be quite a sight.
If you're gonna listen to their first self titled album from 99. I highly reccomend "Me Inside" and "Purity"
ROB WE NEED MORE TOOL!!! Try Aenima, Stinkfist or Hooker With a Pen15. Once u get them, u will be hooked and Schism will make more sense to you
psychosocial and duality are also good ones from around the same time as this song came out
I'm not sure if you'd be ready for "Eeryore", by Slipknot. Is crazy madness.
That song is what's known as an "adrenaline rush. " 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💣💣💣💣💣💣
Another Slipknot song you should check out when you get a chance is All Out Life. Straight from a maggot CB for sure!
you've got to react to more Jinjer! Teacher Teacher, Judgement & Punishment, Vortex, and some of their new stuff like Green Serpent
Always click on a RobTV rock music review

That sagat statue is huge
RobTV reacting to Slipknot? Yeah, lemme sit my ass down for a second.
Love these rock reactions, a great song I suggest is A Growing Boy Needs His Lunch by Dead Kennedys
Would love to see you react to Doechii's mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal, if you haven't already!
Keep it going please. Make sure you have the lyrics up because some songs are written on way with hidden messages. Nero forte is one of them.
I thought u were gonna do a full album reaction to deftones around the fur?? Do it bro!
Korn- Thoughtless…. CB-Certified Baaaaaanger!!

I wanna say do 'The Devil In Me' because it's one of their best, but it might be more of a kick to do 'Dead Memories.'
Do a reaction to “The Pulse of The Maggots” by Slipknot!
🙌🙌🙌
B A R!!!
You gotta react to slipknot’s “Snuff”
Scream avenged sevenfold, bat country avenged sevenfold, nightmare avenged sevenfold, blind korn, the dying song slipknot, sonne rammstein(german metal band), spiders system of a down, IEAIAIO system of a down, and hypnotize system of a down. all really good songs
suffering in silence, basically
Corey Taylor has amazing range. He is one of the best metal vocalists ever, if not the best.
i resisted making a short joke.
the anime AMV classic!!
Just imagine if he react to MFKR album XD
their early stuff is some crazy sounding white people shit, but like this one, they got a handful of pretty melodic ones you can sing to without getting confused about whats happening
React to Nu Delhi by Bloodywood for the love of god react to that. I’d pay to see that reaction.
Corey Taylor is a Bar Master.
A ton of their music is themed/directed by their anger towards the label companies. The pain, anger and bullshit perpetuated by the label admin, in addition to to other personal issues.
You catch the dbz lyric?

Watch aesthetics of hate by machine head.
