This is so useful! Having you break down the amby section by section shows how it is built and makes it easy for me to visualize how to design the interior if I wanted to do one. Incredibly useful!!! You are so handy with the wiring. Such a relief to know you can strip out most of it and keep the basics. The wiring is the most daunting of all. I would love to see more details on the wiring changes and how you made this happen.
I like the way you explained what you were going to do. This was very useful too, so please keep the commentary coming.
I did not like any music, much prefer just the voice and sound of tools being used, natural sounds. Music is hard on ears.

Thanks I work in a fully equipped shop so having all the right tools and a bit of experience helps speed up the process

Wow!!! You make it look so simple... that cluster of wires scares the crap out of me!😳. Was there any insulation originally on the walls? Did I miss that video? Sorry it took me 7 months to find you on RUclips. Thank you for sharing all this with the boondocking universe 👍❤

What did you end up using/finding to cap off those A/C fittings?

Maybe take the wireing to those outside lights and use them for inside lights instead and leave wireing the way it is and make a seperate solar apart from that old wireing

Awesome stuff! What types of tools did you need for this tear down?

Just a basic crow bar set a drill and a few wrenches its all pretty easy undo all the bolts and screws then there is a bit of glue holding peices together

why did you choose to take the box ac and heater out?
I feel like that would be kinda nice to keep so that you don't have to install and wire a new one in...

They both require the engine to be running to use. They are incredibly inefficient and the very old technology took up way to much space. We have a buddy heater for the winter and plan on installing a minisplit ac for next summer

How much weight did you get out of the back?

I haven't put it on the scales yet but it was noticeable when driving for sure..
