I played FF7 for the first time last year. I knew the scene that this music is famous for was coming. Afterall, it had been spoiled the heck out of for 10 years. There is really something to be said for a game...for a piece of music like this, that even though I knew it was coming, it still got me emotional. I think it was the fact that Cloud promised to protect her that really did it for me.
