Seriously, I can not express sufficiently how much i love fishing that canyon. My family farmed that land for generations and the fishing has been good forever
This video was perfect timing. Last night a fever, today, body aches, nothing like Fly All SZN to keep the perspective on life from getting imbalanced too.
I moved away from Rexburg Idaho this summer after learning to fly fish there. One of my last fishing days with my good friend was on the Teton just a bit below Felt Dam. Hooked into my PB cutthroat on the fly rod. One of the most memorable day’s fishing in that area. Such a beautiful place, it will always be one of my favorite places in the world. So many great fishing opportunities and just all around the most beautiful country I have had the pleasure to see. I know I will be back to have more adventures and count the days until I can.
I used to go out that way all the time. Absolutely amazing fly fishing scene. The rivers are open, and you don’t get your line caught in the brush. Just being able to get a full cast out on a wide open river felt awesome.
Great video as always! Love seeing the raw excitement Really appreciate this one too, was in the Tetons a few times this year but never had time to make it to this river. It’s been on the list for a while now. This can help hold me over but has me even more hyped to hopefully get there next year!
@@FLYALLSZNbtw I’m the guy that said hi to you at the Little Cottonwood Canyon Fish For Garbage event back in September! I said hi to you after the event. Just so you can put a face with a name haha 🤘🏼
Like the short-cut out of the canyon at the Rio Grande Gorge... My suggestion is to wear leather work gloves, because there is nothing like the sting of a rock-cut palm on a steering wheel for the drive home to drive home the idea of exploration and 'trails.'
I didn't know there were rainbows in there. They make such a big deal over the cutts. I would rather catch a rainbow or brook trout over a cutt, but that is just my preference.

YES! It’s an absolute blast every time!

Nothing beats a bug better than fever dreams of warmer days!

Rexburg is awesome and the area is outstanding! So much just a stones throw away

It really is a special place!
Epic, as always, Mike! 👏🏼
Great vlog man!…great scenery, great fishing….seemed like every cast was “fish on” time, I look forward to fly fishing that area someday. 🤙🏼
It’s incredible country!!

Nothing gets the blood rushing like a healthy canyon rainbow! Can’t recommend it enough, just be very careful when you’re down there
Great video again my dude! Tight lines brother!🤝🏼🇺🇸
Thank you so much!! Always appreciate the support

Yes! I recognize the name from IG brother! That was a great event
Beautiful fish, location and video as always Mike! Making me excited for next summer already.
Thank you!! I’m ready for summer myself
Wow…fantastic session Mike, you must have a bit of Billygoat in ya to navigate those hills!
I’ve been known to chew a tin can or two in my day! It’s not for the faint of heart that’s for sure!

I always make sure to bring a pair when I’m playing in that sort of country! I’ve cut myself up way too much gripping and slipping up and down
Sick!
Thank you!!
I fish the section of the Teton over by bates and there is a very healthy population of brooks and even some tigers mixed in
No kidding?
@@FLYALLSZN I have only caught one tiger out of there in my life but ive heard some stories about it
with all the traveling you have done, it would be cool to do a reflections video and let us know what you think is the best place to fish overall
I don’t know if I could fit that all in just one video! Maybe something longer form..
A buddy of mine just caught an absolute football of a cut bow yesterday in the Rio. Had me jealous!
DANG! I gotta get back that way. It’s so amazing
@@FLYALLSZN Its fantastic. We were right next to John Dunn bridge, where you met with Finn McMullin (Whom ive known for about 10 years) 😂
Nice feesh :)
Jumping Rainbows!!!
Absolute acrobats!
@FLYALLSZN and somehow so photogenic and behaved for the close ups!!😆
Just gotta ask nice and they behave haha

That’s interesting! As much fun as the bows are, I’d much rather find a native fish I think!
What happened to the fly all szn discord
It got shut down!
