My fav part of my salvation has been how God has been patient with me,so many little things have been changing,I used to think I would change overnight and I would beat myself up when I sin but I came to realize that salvation is not by ur power bt slowly how God changes you from the inside out,I never used to pray or even think about it but if I haven't prayed fr hours or read my Bible,somehow the holyspirit reminds me,these days I worship fr HOURS,that has made me understand that no matter how slow u think God is working,he really is working and that term "born again" is the truth,you change,things move,people who don't worship God like u want to gets moved,i left my abusive ex after about 9years of abuse.I left home and I no longer run to man fr my problems bt to God,my fav part of salvation has been THE CHANGE!!!!! It’s been 11 months since I lost my partner in a tragic work accident. I knew of Maverick City long before this took place but I’ve been able lean into worship and continue to trust in God and that my former days are not better than ladder days. God has good plans and knows exactly what He’s doing!

I love that this showed up in my recommendation feed at 12am on a sleepless night filled with anxiety. Chandler's word really hit me, moved me to tears in fact. When I heard my name it genuinely surprised me because of how _accurate_ it was for the place I'm in my life, feeling 'hidden' in my room. Thank you, Lord, that wherever we are we can run to you. Like David when he was fleeing from Saul, when he was fleeing from his own son, Absalom, when he was hiding from his enemies in dank caves - cold, lonely, hungry, wondering if he would live to see the next day - *David would to cry out to God and plead for help.*
Being in these environments growing up and experiencing youth of all creeds link up to worship together is something to behold. I can only imagine how magnificent the sound of praise is in heaven and I cannot wait to praise forever more 🙌🏿
