Arguments will always rage on as to who is/was the best player of all time. Messi, Ronaldo, Zidane, Best etc etc but for me it will always be Maradona. The most complete player of all time. Argentina were an average team and he won the World Cup on his own almost. His vision, first touch, pace, movement and goal scoring ability is what football is all about. (I would like to see Messi play for the weakest sides like Maradona did, play against the best/strongest sides, with no referee protection from nasty tackles, then see what his record looks like!!!) If Maradona played in top teams, he would have won everything, way more than any other player has done with his unmatched ability. If Maradona was playing today he would destroy all records/stats without breaking sweat, Messi would look like a 3rd rate player
