That's garbage. Kent is this polite to everyone lol this woman just happens to be polite back so Kent can carry the dialog politely. Most people bring up his taxes in debates about evolution and God lol even Grayson and Jackson roe debated Kent and visited in person and would disagree with you.

How absolutely disgusting that he kept putting up a picture of a random black woman that was not the black woman that he had on.
I thought it was kind and generous for him to google her up, took pics he found and her background and gave her a platform and presented her, spent time making slides (ik hard to fathom) with her picture even though he disagrees. Very shameful to demean someone’s kindness and respect. That’s a disgusting act.

Kent, I'm a Christian but you're boldfaced lying about Hitler and Owens. Hitler shook his hand and treated him well. In fact it was the other way around, Owens himself said it was his own president, Roosevelt, that would not shake his hand. Had to check you on that one brother.

Eighty years after Jesse Owens won four medals at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, his daughter says Germany’s Nazi leader Adolf Hitler refused to shake her father’s hand.
The controversial Berlin Olympics opened on August 1, 1936 to much fanfare, with the Reich’s chancellor, Hitler, hoping to showcase the best of the Aryan race, and the hosts planning to dominate the podium across the 19 different sporting events.
But Owens ruined Hitler’s plans, as the black American sprinter won gold in the 100-meter, 200-meter, 4×100-meter relay and long jump, over six magical days at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium.
His achievements made a mockery of the Nazi ideology of Aryan supremacy and, according to sporting folklore, Hitler refused to shake his hand, despite the American’s historic display.
Owens died of lung cancer, aged 66, in 1980, but his daughter, Marlene Owens Rankin, says as far as she is concerned, her father never shook Hitler’s hand.

Atheists should read the book "From Darkness to Sight,' by Ming Wang. He was an atheist, but became a theist after studying the human eye and becoming an eye surgeon. He had 31 years of education, and graduated from Harvard and MIT. He concluded that God exists, because the eye is so well designed, it must have taken intelligence to create it.

Also, why would it be acceptable for someone to give us worse eyesight because someone else sinned? Eve didn't know that this was a potential consequence, so why hold us accountable for this? Would you say that blind people are more affected by sin than people with 20/20 vision? It makes no sense, it's clearly an ad hoc story we tell ourselves as a culture to try to make sense of why bad things happen

The theist argument that everything requires a creator falls apart completely. If it is a true statement then the creator must have had a creator by definition. You just can't go spouting off a theory like that and add on to it "Ah, but God did not require a creator, he is eternal ! If I am flapping my lips and not really saying anything, then I would expect my peers to tell me to GET TO THE POINT and stop wasting all of our time (in fact when you are writing a doctorate (or book), that is EXACTLY what the "publisher" will tell you every single day - cut the chatter, say what you need to say - don't use filler words).

I enjoyed the butterfly discussion, ie ‘a butterfly produces a butterfly’. Apparently neither of them ever studied the evolution of butterflies nor ever tried to determine differences of the early groups of Microlepidoptera from the various lineages of so called Caddis flies ie Trichoptera. Put another way, there’s about 200,000 species known of ‘butterflies and their kin’ with many new ones described daily by those who actually care to study them, and determining the patterns of diversity in this hyper diverse group where in contrast to their unformed thoughts, many species differences do actually show strong evidence of rapid diversification and speciation in recent history, but hey let’s just pretend nobody ever studied anything on that, and just say ‘a butterfly just produces a butterfly’ without knowing the first thing about the topic.

On the first, evolutionary biologist here. Rock didn’t change into etc. Organic molecules aggregated and replication began, much later all that needed to happen was for those to be enclosed in phospholipid bags which we could call bacteria. Once cells formed and the increased machinery of life developed, it’s easy to get to multicellular life, and much much later the ancestors of dog like creatures split from those of simians. Or God “magicked” it all.
