It's also sad so many people believe Hovind is a kind person. Especially when he spends half his speaking time insulting his opponents, and anyone who disagrees with him, instead of providing evidence for his claims. Imagine how much more of an impact he could make if he stopped putting people down.

Atheists should read the book "From Darkness to Sight,' by Ming Wang. He was an atheist, but became a theist after studying the human eye and becoming an eye surgeon. He had 31 years of education, and graduated from Harvard and MIT. He concluded that God exists, because the eye is so well designed, it must have taken intelligence to create it.
Why human eye doesn't have night vision capability or infrared detection, so its not perfectly designed

On the first, evolutionary biologist here. Rock didn’t change into etc. Organic molecules aggregated and replication began, much later all that needed to happen was for those to be enclosed in phospholipid bags which we could call bacteria. Once cells formed and the increased machinery of life developed, it’s easy to get to multicellular life, and much much later the ancestors of dog like creatures split from those of simians. Or God “magicked” it all.

Kent, I'm a Christian but you're boldfaced lying about Hitler and Owens. Hitler shook his hand and treated him well. In fact it was the other way around, Owens himself said it was his own president, Roosevelt, that would not shake his hand. Had to check you on that one brother.

Eighty years after Jesse Owens won four medals at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, his daughter says Germany’s Nazi leader Adolf Hitler refused to shake her father’s hand.
The controversial Berlin Olympics opened on August 1, 1936 to much fanfare, with the Reich’s chancellor, Hitler, hoping to showcase the best of the Aryan race, and the hosts planning to dominate the podium across the 19 different sporting events.
But Owens ruined Hitler’s plans, as the black American sprinter won gold in the 100-meter, 200-meter, 4×100-meter relay and long jump, over six magical days at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium.
His achievements made a mockery of the Nazi ideology of Aryan supremacy and, according to sporting folklore, Hitler refused to shake his hand, despite the American’s historic display.
Owens died of lung cancer, aged 66, in 1980, but his daughter, Marlene Owens Rankin, says as far as she is concerned, her father never shook Hitler’s hand.

@tzgardner I have been thinking a lot about that lately...about how it's a heart issue. I think when it boils down to it, the original purpose of religion (If I'm being generous) was to promote virtue. I think that promoting virtue is GREAT!!! The thing that I take issue with is not the promotion of virtue, but superstition and magical thinking. Kent loves to talk about what is "common sense" and about how we didn't come from a rock. Well here's another bit of common sense for everybody....PEOPLE DON'T RISE FROM THE DEAD!!!

Mathematics, Systems theory, and the Law of Relativity Explained:

According to the principles of mathematics, a standard numerical order must be defined by a sequence in place that acts as a standard for sequencing to occur, which is by definition universal, such is the case when counting from 1 to 100, which is numerically ordered on the basis that there is a standard in place that defines the sequence as orderly. Thus, a standard in place is the evidence of creativity, because a standard must always be inferred the same as any set of rules, simply because there is a method in place, which in turn, defines mathematics as a system or procedure. Any sequence or series of events that act according to a procedure (such as a countdown procedure), is by definition, orderly, and therefore cannot derive at random in accordance with the law of probability.
For example; When a deck of cards are shuffled, the arrangement is disorderly because the cards are not in a numerical order. So, in order for a deck of cards to be in a numerical order, then a standard for sequencing is required first, which then acts as a set of parameters in order for sequencing to occur. And parameters are always inferred the same as any set of rules, because a standard will always be rule based.
Anything that has had rules applied to it is by definition a creation, simply because rules must always be inferred, which does include the laws of mathematics, simply because there is a procedure in place. A procedure or algorithm that is by definition orderly cannot occur at random, otherwise, there would be nothing to define that which is orderly in terms of a sequence. In systems theory, anything random will remain random unless a method is applied, which then defines the process as a system or procedure due to the application of a method.
The law of relativity states that any sequence or series of events that are in relation to each other are by definition, relative, which cannot occur at random in accordance with the law of probability. For example; When a protein is made within the body, the protein must be specific in relation to other proteins or they will not combine to form a functional cell. Thus, the ordered complexity of living cells is due to the fact that each protein must be relative to the next in order for sequencing to occur. This principle is a cardinal principle in systems theory and systems science, because a system will always be integrated according to a set of rules by definition of the word, method.

Scientific racism is defined by any theory that attempts to divide mankind into inferior and superior races, which the evolutionary theory does so openly, because any theory that attempts to divide mankind into a hierarchy of less evolved to more evolved will be defined as "scientific racism."
Mankind is only one kind all the way back to the beginning, because DNA RNA transcription is a copying process, and the rule with any copying process is that each copy must derive from an original copy, and only the original copy will have all of the information for variation, which in turn, defines each successive copy as variant of its original.
This principle explains variation within a kind, because the purpose of speciation is to have an open breeding population that is free to integrate, which in turn, offsets the rate of accumulative mutations, thus leading to the survival of a particular kind.
