I’m a bit of a Neanderthal, so between the less than average brain capacity and my sausage fingers, def a predictable outcome.

Well produced video nice work! Seems like an interesting device definitely curious. I do enjoy my PO33 despite its sometimes tiring workflow.

Perhaps its due to a firmware update, but I have been playing on the Woovebox a few months after you, and no encoder issues at all. Looking forward to your next track. Although there's lots of unboxing/tutorial videos, I don't see too many videos of wb tunes.

I agree with your final assessment. Holding the buttons to adjust parameters as well starts to really dig into the fingers. I’m hoping someone figures out a good 3d printed case with buttons for it. The encoder is a bit finicky. I know Ivo has done some tuning to it so make sure you have the latest update. That being said I did contact him a couple days ago and it sounds like he is planning on tweaking it more. I’m hoping to get him a video of the behaviors I’m seeing. As far as the learning curve….yeah it definitely has one of those. I’ve spent way too much time in the documentation. The woovebox does so much. I have to wonder how something like the m8 tracker compares when it comes to learning curve. Great video and demos. Hope to see more from you.

Don't have a woovebox, but I do have an M8. Learning curve with the M8 I think entirely depends how experienced you are with trackers. It can do a lot, but it does it all in such a unique way, the learning curve can be massive. You can still make music fairly quickly, but sometimes getting specific things you want can be tricky

@@vangoghsseveredear Agreed and that makes a lot of sense. I’ve almost ordered the M8 a couple times now when it’s available but gaining enough mastery on it to translate what I hear into what plays seems like it might be a bit of a time commitment. It sounds so amazing though that I may have to do it anyway.

@mrfork the learning curve is not as steep as it appears - there are a lot of demo projects available that makes it easy to reverse engineer your way to success.

@@monsterlogostudios very cool. I'll have to check into it. Thanks for the information.
