Fun fact: Boba Fetta and Cad Bane were originally going to have a rivalry in the clone wars, but the episodes were unfinished and got scrapped when Disney bought Star Wars. Cad Bane was going to be the reason for the dent in Boba’s helmet.
He was also going to die and mark the rise of Boba Fett as the top dog with his fall to him in a duel.
I could swear, wasn’t there at least one cad band/young boba episode?

As in Clone Wars, Darth Maul is an absolute beast in rebels. Ezra is annoying in the first two seasons, but he gets SO much better in 3 and 4. YOU MUST WATCH REBELS
Don't forget thrawn, all of the dark saber and mandalore episodes, chopper, Sabine and Ezra character development, rex and the boys, Maul vs Obi Wan, Maul's death Kanan's sacrifice, the battle of atolon, the battle of lothal and all of the new planets

My sister watched a couple episodes of the Resistance and said that none of it made any sense and characters were basically other Star Wars characters but they js looked different.
@@Krystal_Ranger resistance sucks (actually is the only star wars series I haven't watched) on the other hand, rebels is amazing, honestly one of the best star wars series (a lot of people confuse them but they are completely different series)
Personally I never found Ezra annoying, but that might have something to do with the fact that I was the same age as Ezra in Seasons 1 and 2 when I first started watching rebels.

Season 3 didn’t have much filler, and the clone wars still has a LOT of filler (it’s still a S Tier). IMO TBB is A Tier
The droid episodes in seasons 4 and 5, the Martel sisters, even the Bad Batch episodes, TCW still had a lot of filler in the later years. Plus, I don't think the animation from earlier seasons has aged well. Personally, I would rank TCW A tier, but there's tons of A tier and S tier arcs, so I can understand people putting it number one.

I just finished watching Clone Wars for the first time. I was left speechless after watching the very last episode. The emotional roller coaster the show takes you on is unmatched. It really adds another level of depth to the prequels and makes the events that happen in rots even more heartbreaking than the movie already was. Clone Wars not only had incredible character and plot development, but I loved that it also showed the struggle of politics and the corruption within the Republic and the Jedi Council. It really showed that the war is not as black and white as the movies may portray it, but Clone Wars showed so many more complicated levels with the integrity of the Republic and Jedi Council. Also, Clone Wars humanizes the clones and we really get to see who they are whereas the movies almost portrays them as mindless soldiers just following orders. So just watching the prequel movies is good, but watching Clone Wars as well adds so much more depth to the story which further made rots even more gut wrenching.

Acolyte was cringe as far as plot and messaging. But I would argue it has some of the best saber fights in all the franchise. That said the show lacked in many areas

10:08 I would highly recommend the rest of Visions, it’s easily one of my favorite Star Wars shows with different unique stories and characters set outside canon and easily boasting some of the best animation I’ve seen in a show period
Ninth Jedi and Screecher's Reach deserve to be made their own shows. And sure, there's some stinkers, but the fact that they're not connected means you can pick and choose which ones you like.

Putting Bad batch in B is probably what most people would put it, but for me it’s an A tier show. Especially the latter 2 seasons where the filler is sometimes important and not completely trash like in Mando season 3 episode 6. (Good god that episode sucked…)

I think Bad Batch peaked with S2, I really think the show would've been better if it wasn't rushed to finish a whole season early. Great finale for a show that should've been more.

I just rewatched Clone Wars recently, not quite as good as I remembered.
I would say it's an A tier show with S tier moments, but it's long enough that those S tier moments get diluted by some of the not so good moments imo

Favorite episodes? If Ninth Jedi doesn't get announced for a new show at Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025, I will have lost all faith in Lucasfilm. Easily one the best things ever produced from star wars after OT, (yeah I'm an OT simp).
Nah that's a crazy take on Bad Batch because the whole show subtly justifies the ridiculous return of Sidious😭 plus deals with the question posed multiple times throughout clone wars, of who the clones are without war - are they only good as soldiers, or can they make a life outside of that? This was a show MADE for us clone stans✊ but I can see how the side questy feel isn't for everyone, so fair enough on that front

Also watch Rebel's, nothing will ever beat Clone Wars, we know that, but it's easily second best, Ezra seems like an actually conflicted character and is actually interesting.

Bad batch had mostly 2 episode stories right? And the characters were very good in my opinion, the concept is also great. I’d give it an A tier personally.
16:40 they actually are making a season 2 and its even done filming. It’ll be released in early 2025 and they did show a trailer for it in 2023 star wars celebration.
I found both Bad Batch and Rebels suffered from what I call "Filoni animated kids show syndrome", where the first couple of seasons are obviously targeted at kids to draw them in, sprinkling in excellent episodes along the way to show that there is potential in the series, and BAM, they hit you with super high quality second halves that reward you for putting up with the obviously targeted at kids episodes of the early seasons. "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and "Star 'The Clone Wars' Wars" both also have this (Yes Filoni worked on Season 1 of TLA)
Also the 2003 clone wars cartoon is relatively fast to get through, its like 48 minutes for the entire thing, I recommend you go back and watch it.

Bad batch season 1 was kinda mid apart from the end, but season 3 was solid af. Love to see the improvement. Mando season 2 I personally liked more than 1, but mainly because of the finale. Boba and Cad Bane did have a rivialry sorta, Bane was the one who put that iconic dent in Bobas helmet when he was much younger (although not shown on screen so i get the criticism, BOBF was my least favorite star wars live action)

I heard that Tales of the Jedi is getting a 2nd season. Is that still happening or did Tales of the Empire take the place of that.
I hope we get another TOTJ season. I want to see Pong Krell, Grand Inquisitor, Plo Koon, Eeth Koth, Qui Gon.
Gotta disagree with the bad batch ranking it’s an A tier, season 2 was a b tier, and I think I would put the 1st as an A, but the 3rd season was great, the plot all connected, and all of the development from the past seasons really came into play, I would give that season an S tier.
I’m currently watching all of Star Wars in chronological order and I’m on Resistance right now, it’s fucking terrible. The animation makes your eyes bleed, the main character is obnoxiously stupid and childish and the show doesn’t really focus on the wider resistance, only the tiniest part of it. People are usually quick to defend it by claiming “it’s for kids.” But even kids have standards, there’s a reason it was cancelled after 2 seasons.

Bad batch IS the second best Star Wars show
I think the animation quality and overall story quality was better, but it didn't reach the same highs as TCW or Rebels imo. Like, I didn't feel like there TCW droid episodes or Rebels S1 hijinks, with Cid's missions not being as unbearable. However, there wasn't a Twilight of the Apprentice or Siege of Mandalore. The closest I got was the Clone Conspiracy two parter and every episode with Crosshair was goated. I think if the show committed to a larger overarching story it could've been high A tier, low S tier.

There was going to be a clone wars episode where we see a mission done by Boba Fett Cad Bane. I believe it was suppose to be Cad Bane acted as Boba's mentor figure for a while, but something happened on the mission. Unfortunately, this episode was not included in season seven. If it was, it would have made the final confrontation between the two have a little impact.
By the way, I absolutely agree with your Acolyte Ranking.
Starwars resistance is such a great and silly show. Really reccomending everyone to see it! It's such a great show to showcase the start of the resistance. Also the last arc is such a emotional arc.
