I chose to seperate series when I ordanized my shelf into TRB and read books. And it was SUCH a motivator to finish series so they could be reunited 😂

I would have put the larger bookcase in between the two smaller ones

This makes me happy that I have the kindle app. I love having my physical books but if I had this many it would just make me so anxious. Beautiful collection. I just like my collection on the app lol

I think I built The Fine Print up in my head and then little things made me not like it 😭 I wanted to like it, but it just didn’t hit for me 🥲 the bird noises were very relaxing!! It does feel good to switch up your reading spot sometimes ☺️

LOL. Yessss 🤣👏 Our standards are different between real men and our fictional men. I think I'm going to be adding Stalking Jack the Ripper on my TBR. I love the change in scenery! I feel like I should start taking my books outside to read too 😂 I spend so much of my time on my couch, some vitamin D could do me some good. I tend to treat my Goodreads want-to-read section as a TBR shelf (I know some people who adds any books they are interested in but I am very picky about what I add). I aim to not buy any books if I can (going with e-books or library books unless I want a physical copy for sentimental reasons since I'm not a re-reader), and I usually try to keep my TBR around 10 books or less. I think this has really helped me figure out what I like to read and prevents me from being overwhelmed or losing one book in a sea of other books. Plus having ten means I can mood read but also have things in the back burner for later. To be fair I do tend to read around a book a week give or take so that lets me keep up with what I want to read while also having space to add new books as they are released but having this system also lets me remove books which no long "spark joy" as needed! My neighborhood is also super into little libraries which I think helps since I can swap any physical books as needed and it incentivizes me to finish a book so I can return it for the next person and pick up something new! I'm not sure if you have something like this but I highly recommend either donating to your local library/ local thrift stores if they accept donations or leaving them with your local little library. It just clears a huge mental load!

The Raven Boys are a really good book. A bit slow, but it's worth it. I recommend just reading a chapter or two at a time (that's how I read it. I couldn't force myself to read the whole book at one sitting, but I really enjoyed reading maybe a chapter a day)

you should make a list of the books you’ve owned for 4+ years that need to be read by the end of the year if not, unhaul !!!! I would love to see that as a vid ☺️
