Felony speeding, just like the biker.
I thought I new where you were until you pulled on to the numbered trail? Where you be?
@@seanalcala9840 East of Roosevelt Lake. Opposite Four Peaks. Spent a couple hours and barely scratched the surface.
You ever watch Mad Max....it's all about Gasoline.great sountrack...
Good point. Now I need a Dingo.
Can't stand guys in the truck like that. Too proud to move over and let you pass, so they start driving aggressive and stupid, forcing you to either back off from all the dust or pick a spot to pass them without too much drama.
@@seanalcala9840 could just be me but I got the impression they found themselves quite hilarious. Only reason I roosted them once I got past.
Big Boy gets to go outta the yard, now..!!
@@kirkmawhorter6057 I’m happy for ya big fella.
Is this the road to vernal?
@@I_am_archie Mount Graham area. Not sure if that answers your question. We were just roaming around and ended up there.
@ShiftyTurner I got snowed on today for a moment in northern Utah on my Victory Vision. But the road didn't look like what you were cruising through.
@@I_am_archie As I recall, it was a pretty mild day at the base of the mountain. Riding through the elevation change we just hit the right altitude on the shady side of the mountain and suddenly it’s all snow and slush. We turned around at the next dry patch. There was still a good bit to go up there but as we were still climbing it was definitely only going to get worse.
They ain't broken in till you drop em a few times! That is a nice run over the top but those SXS are just tearing it up.
@@seanalcala9840 So many things to tell about that ride. The two biggest problems were stock IRC tires at street pressure and suspension settings. Still fun.
Nice trail!
It’s pretty cool back there. Good place to go when I only have a couple of hours to ride.
Hell yeah! Dude people would travel for days just for the opportunity to ride that area. Amazing looking location. Thanks for sharing.
The white car passed by crossing a broken yellow line both times which is legal. I think he got pulled over because after he passed the pickup he crossed the solid double yellow lines to get in front of him.
@@Eric_A. that and doing a buck ten.
A fun road. If on my 1090 or my Bonneville it's a blast.
@@azdesertdog Was super lucky with how clear it was traffic wise.
Just rode this last weekend. It's hard to believe it's been closed for 5 years. Seemed odd to see all the pavement they added.
@@azdesertdog Yup. Was good to get a ride in while there’s still dirt.
brz wouldve had a much worse day if they continued to pass that close to oncoming traffic

Ain’t riding either. 😂
I never did ask you how well the suspension handles the rocks, and how it compares to the Honda or the KLR.
@@seanalcala9840 It’s really good. You did a good job with your setup. The Honda feels super stiff but sucks up some shocking hits. The KLR is a lovable Pig.

Penalties should be significant if they aren't already. 1) Seize vehicle. Return only after fines are paid and all other punishment complete. 2) Revoke license 3) Massive fines 4) Jail time 5) Driver ed safety training, including how to NOT BE A SOCIOPATH behind the wheel! It would be nice to have people like this monitored to evaluate their future behavior. Entitled driver is probably a rager who endangers people all the time. This idiot should have to PROVE they're no longer a danger to society. Driving is a privilege, not a right. We need to treat it that way instead of what we do now.
There's no need to ever return the vehicle. He's proven he doesn't need it and isn't responsible enough to have it.

@@seanalcala9840 Everything Dude. It was a fantastic ride.
Crazy to see pavement out there, depending on how much the do, that might open up it's own set of problems with traffic and idiots, you know, like boats and trailers!
@@seanalcala9840 My guess would be only to the landing at Apache Lake. The top section would require a massive construction project. Since it took five years to come up with a budget solution opening it back up, I’m guessing there’s not a lot of interest in “improving” most of that. Hopefully it gets left alone.
Did it with th KTM the day they opened it up, figured I would head out that way one last time before we headed out. Gonna miss the raw beauty for sure. How did you find out it was finally open?
@@seanalcala9840 Saw a video from one of the local news channels saying it was about to open. Then someone posted a video the minute it opened. So the short answer would have been RUclips. 😁
That's about how I recall it.

Wowser, that's a bit loose, I'm hoping you were not far from home or had tools with you to adjust that.
@@seanalcala9840 A bit. The “vibration” was the chain trying to walk off the rear sprocket. When I released the axle nut the slider jumped forward a quarter inch. Wild.
You definitely found an offshoot of what we originally did, this looked a bit easier. Awesome views!
@@seanalcala9840 All but about fifty feet is the same. I’m telling you Dude, the camera does that. It’s like the handlebar mount video I posted. Looks like I’m being buffeted all over the place but I’m relatively stationary. The movement is almost all in the bike.
What do you guys call all those little rocks on the trail? I've always called them baby heads, catch a couple baby heads the wrong way could send you right off the trail
@@grrob51 Baby heads it is. And that happened twice today. The only reason I edited them out was because it was already an 18 and a half minute video and another 9.5 minutes of old man panting on the side of the trail didn’t seem like anything anyone really wants to see. 😜
@@ShiftyTurner That's cool, judging by the landscape I live a ways north of you so I wasn't sure if there's different lingo. Oh yeah definitely been in the same boat, it always seems to get me right when I think I'm riding good and am proud of myself.
@@grrob51 Right? As I’ve transitioned into middleweight bikes again, I’ve realized that the lighter the bike the less it takes to upset it. Having a lot more fun than riding bigger ADV bikes on that stuff. So, further north huh? Like Payson or like British Columbia?
