Chat I just finished watching breaking bad and ngl it was a roller coaster of emotions. I know that Walter was not a good person. But the more I look at it and the more I think about it. I just can’t hate him. Walter white and Jesse deserved better.

It's interesting, in a twisted way, maybe even in a selfish way technically, Walt tried to make his final moments only doing kind things and atoning for his sins. Tipping the waitress, leave money to his family, taking out the gangsters and freeing Jesse. You can argue it was selfish, but that doesn't change the good outcome of those actions. I think, he finally authentically regretted it and had fully taken responsibility for the awful things he had done, even if in his own way.

Yes he did horrible and morally despicable acts but at the end of the day I admire the way he lived his life. He was an overqualified chem teacher with unrealised potential, he was a nobody and he lived a dull and still life filled wih regret from leaving the company. But at the end of the series I think he died maybe not happy but content. For 2 years he lived to his own accord, followed his ego and desires and achieved what he always wanted: greatness. It was a good ending.
