I wonder if you closed the bat angle if it would reverse the spin like it normally does when you block topspin ??? I know if i put my robot on super high top spin it gets to the point where it flys back with under spin. But it never really happens in a game that way.

How are you calculating the spin ?? With software or just manually counting and comparing to frame per second ?? ????

This is exactly the type of testing I love to see! If only I could see something similar comparing Yaska Mark V vs. Nittaku Fastarc C-1 ... or different types of boosting on DHS Hurricane 3 vs. popular hybrid rubbers. Or comparisons with the industry standard of Butterfly Tenergy 05 vs. cheaper alternatives like XIOM Vega Pro or Donic Bluefire M2.

Sorry for my english but currently I used 09c blk on my fh on schlager tamca carbon blade with G1 red on the other side. The result is quite evident, 09c is much faster, more spin and the throwing angle is much longer similar to the video presented.

That was very interesting. Too bad you could not record it with a much faster frame rate. Or is that RUclips's fault? The results do vary just a bit. It actually seemed that the balls coming out of the robot were a little faster or at least hit the table deeper when the Dignics side was used which would give a bit of a slighted result. I loved how you had both shots superimposed. I have been thinking about trying the Fastarc.... In your test the FA was consistently breaking down to the table sooner. I hit with it for just a few strokes with a buddies blade and I seemed to like it. Now I am sold to do so as I really don't like the major high throw of the Butterfly rubber. Thank you.

Hello! I have a question- We were playing mixed double 21 points game of 5 sets. After 4 set score were 2-2 then 5th game my opponent(A and B) ask to change serves (I was serving to-A and asked to serv to B) when I were 10 and they were 7 as a international rule, is it correct ? even if this is correct if they reach the score to17 (7+10) dose serve will change again(I mean i will serve back to A).

Great true science test. May I ask which app/tool that you use to measure the balls speed? I always want to measure my serving ball speed but can't find any app to measure them.

It looks like your robot is relatively slow at ejecting balls compared to the amicus and tennirobo. Can you upload a video showing the max speed of the robot? (E.g. switching between shooting to different positions of the table)

Does the PongFox robot use 3 motors like the tennirobo and amicus robot?

You REALLY need to do the Tenergy 05 vs the Dignics 05, both in the same color and both in max thickness. They both have the Spring Sponge X. So, this comparison will really show the differences in the topsheets and pimple structures + the differences between a medium hardness Spring Sponge X versus a hard Spring Sponge X. Then, you should try Tenergy 05 vs Evolution MX-P vs Fastarc G1 all in the same color and max thickness. All of these rubbers are meant to be very similar to each other. Finally, do Dignics 09C vs Hybrid K3 in the same color and thickness. They're the 2 rubbers that are most used by nearly all top European pros. So, it'll be handy. P.S. Start using the DHS DJ40+ for all tests because it is basically the main ball used at most pro tournaments these days. This will add to the usefulness of the tests

I really wish you would use meter/second and rev/sec. Nothing in TT takes a minute or an hour. You should have a common time base and everything in TT happens seconds or fractions of. Other than that, keep plugging away.

Hi, nice video! Is there a difference if you put the paddle in horizontal pozition? (Not vertical). I remember there is a difference in pimples alignment that might impact the reversal. It would be interesting to test/ compare if there is any.
