My favorites were Bourdon pads… way too expensive for me. I bought a pair of D+R pads, they were on sale, I saved for months!, until I saved enough to buy them- they were a whopping $60 dollars back then, I was 14 and, to raise that kind of money, I had to make all sorts of chores, hahahaha! But they were well worth the effort.

I'm curious how the glove is holding up. I am enjoying my Bauer Vapor 90 however it's Pro palm is starting to wear after a little over a year of heavy use. Thinking about a custom 580 True. Can you comment of the palm protection? My custom would likely be a Pro Xtra palm.

I’m in Graf Goaler Pros with Bauer cowlings and am finally looking to upgrade my skates but I’m 50 with a bum hip. Not sure if high-end or custom skates will really help or just cost a lot.

what skate sharpening do you use? im trying to find the best one at the moment just for every goalie by seeing what sharpening a ton of goalies use.

Does anyone else find that the real player video overlay seems to shoot a lot harder than even the max of the CGI shooter plus the angle of the puck doesn’t seem to be as true and straight as the CGI shooter. I find it much harder to track.

I have the previous version of this skate when it was still VH. It's still holding up great and I agree with with you on the thicker steel. I also love the lower profile and neutral pitch. It reminds me of when I wore Grafs. I do wish they had a bit more forward flex to them. I might have to try taking a hole lace off.

Wow I guess PGS didn't last considering this video is only 5 months old and I just went to their website and they no longer offer gloves, blockers, or leg pads. What a shame.

I have a Quest 3 on its way and I'm going to sign up for Sense Arena. I'm just a beer league goalie but only because I didn't have any development programs when I was younger. I do have a deep love for the game more than anything else in life but so many people don't realize how hard it is to train when you're a goalie. Every forward and defenseman can just grab a stick and even a pair of rollerblades and go outside and practice stick handling and shooting all day. Us goalies literally need somebody else to shoot on us to really practice game situations. I've even thought about getting a baseball pitching machine and using that to practice at home. But even with that you can only set the machine to shoot in one general area at a time. I'm so excited to try this out.

ive used mine about 4 nights a week for the past few weeks. trying to break down the knee a bit to close up my 5 hole - but maybe i just ordered too small a size im not sure. love the pads though

How do these toe ties attach? It seems like whatever I do I have to go around the back heel of the skate? I criss cross front, to middle, around back, criss cross again middle, and then there's finally enough tension to attach the velcro above the skate. Is that correct?

Did this ever make it into production? They ought to call it the Pelican, it's f'n HUGE pocket, lol that can't be NHL legal, can it? Call me crazy, I think it's beautiful. Only thing I'd change is the pocket string. Gotta have laces baby, not a fan of that paracord look. Great vid, I'm here because I saw the goalie glove guy fix your old glove. He's an artist with that lacing. Stay safe out there brother.
