@hadesior7321 I guarantee you the shield will be gone gone next league. If this shield makes it without significant nerfs GGG is fucking up balance by giving us too strong a defensive tool. Also good chance I will be league starting a hiero totem build so you'll get something anyway

as the shield is a drop from a league mechanic it probably will be gone so gg

Scales even better in SC. You have easy access to rain of splinters and can go arcane surge ascendancy (30% more damage). You have totem regen tech which is miles better than the flask tech I'm using for mana and get even more mana spend for indigon ramp. Optimized you could probably do triple my dps with slightly more tankiness.

I have never played gauntlet so I have no idea. Go ask Jung.

Didn't know maven beams proc the totem. Will probably test this next league. I hit 8/8 on ruthless and 37/40 on settlers so I'm kinda done with POE for now.

@alexmaagna in SC you get arcane blessing instead of divine guidance and you don't scale flasks and go % mana regeneration. This build is waaaaay better in non ruthless. Has triple the dps and much better sustain. I'm tempted to league start this in 3.26.

Would probably still be hiero in regular.

@@nnnyuuu_ Get sire of shards early then use the damage to farm maps into Eater and run the hunger boss for black zenith. Once you get zenith your damage is good, start focusing on defenses. You can farm up svalinn by doing black knights.

Then you do no damage cuz they scale off different things.

I'll make a video update. Just got Ashes.

For hiero first few levels you run rolling magma + flamewall. Once you get totem taunt you can run flamewood + rejuvenation totems. Damage is pretty mid till you hit 49 and get sire of shards then it ramps hard all the way till you swap to black zenith gloves.

@@tommymoua3274 It's ruthless. Your cremation armageddon brand will have no links and no damage. Flamewood Totems will go to maps on a 3 link in sire of shards.

It's too efficient a build. Saw that Ruthless had all the items I needed to make this cheap so I took the plunge. 1 and a half weeks in I'm T17 viable lol.

@@Uberjager yup when I leaguestart it in settlers I could do t16 with about 50c of gear lol (did heist after campaign and bought all my gear and went straight to t16s). And could do t17 once I got a surrender shield. Extremely cost efficient My setup didn't consider svalin since that was new on leaguestart and it was hard getting tanky on hierophant, a mate of mine started champion and that got really tanky immediately and went straight to t17s

i have a 19% taken as cold watchers. if that makes a big diff or not. my ehp is 40k and my max phys hit is 45k. idk how to get that even higher as i have "similar" gear and set up to everyone. but i might be messing up somewhere. i dont have progenesis yet

You have no physical damage reduction (base without endurance charges) This means whenever your Immortal call procs, right after its duration drops off if you haven't gained ANY endurance charges you one shot yourself. You need to get physical damage reduction on your body armor at a minimum. Or if you can't sustain endurance charges permanently, drop your immortal call.

@KaelfromTW see your physical damage reduction without armour. Also iron fortress is bad. Even conor doesn't use it because chest opportunity cost for defenses is too high.

@BB-vf6ul your resistances are solved by the glorious vanity/sublime/watchers eye. If you do not get these early, please get items that fix resistances, or you'll die alot.

@@BB-vf6ul you need ALL 3 of them before you can swap. So if they're expensive at the moment you just get normal resistances and take the hit to your total strength.

Its broken. It allows you to run sap of seasons with 100+ pen with Weeping wounds. As long as you dont get 1 shot = you're unkillable.

Oh without a doubt this setup was never meant to beat or be better than Replica Alberons. Conner's setup will always be indisputably the best possible build for Molten Strike of the Zenith given Original Sin and double flat scaling with weapon/boots. I just wanted to prove that it was possible for a completely alternate gearing strategy to run an envious budget and still get to sit at the same table, eating the same things. So alot of the videos I'm creating as of now is to try to test the limits of this setup and match the content Conner can handle with his setup. I'll inevitably hit a brick wall. (probably DPS wise) But for now I'm quite satisfied with the results given the investment involved.

@@Uberjager Totally agree - just making sure other people aren't just looking at the numbers. I've just run a bunch of simulacrums, on my considerably worse gear than yours, and no progenesis deathless and quite comfortably, which i can rarely do. I'm thinking I might tweak it back to taking the duration nodes for trauma uptime like you had on early iteration(And other QoL) - going to be easier than scaling the attack speed much further. Simulacrums are a very chill strat at the moment. At 7 per div you make more than that back just on stacked decks.

I wouldn't consider his build tanky if his defensive layers for the T17 map strategy he runs is to use all 6 portals. That being said. I think Conor and I value very different things in a build and our priorities in gearing are also very different, so all I can give are my opinions. I personally feel that Jugg's strengths aren't really utilized in his setup and that he should be probably swap to chieftain and get jugg forbidden jewels. On the other hand Steve (Deep delver number 1) offers a far more balanced take of Connor's build which I like alot and personally if you want to know what a tanky variant of this build would look like all you need to do is go and look for the current rank 1 Delver.

Thats true. Do note at the same time that because Pillar builds have so much flexibility you can always substitute X for Y and rebalance stats in different ways. The only things that are really mandatory are the jewels that enable the build, the pillar and (late game) the progenesis. I could probably reconstruct this build for someone starting the league for under 5 divs. It just wont have the same bonkers performance I have on this setup.
