When cleaning the walls..whee dust accumulates among other places..be sure to use the angled brush..but use a mask..or bandana to cover your nose..if you are sensitive to dust or allergens.

Someone complains about your voice?!!! Oh boy. I do have one of those round auto vacuums (cheaper knock off). It works good, but you must have your floors completely free of "stuff" or it can get stuck. I like the pillowcase idea over the broom. It reminds me of my mom. She had high beams in her home and she used to take a wet sheet and throw it over the beam and go back and forth. Now I wonder how she did that high up on a ladder! I also have a rechargeable floor scrubber (my husband's Xmas present to me) that I use on my tile floors. I spray Clorox Clean Up, scrub and then use a wet mop to wipe up. No bending. Here's another thing I had to do: I have a garden window. Sounded good 20 years ago, but now my shoulder is bad and I can't even lift flower pots down and to clean the window--almost impossible. I used my swifter floor wand to clean the windows after I sprayed Windex. Pushed a paper towel around with it. lol

It's really sad when you leave a doctor's office and you don't get answers. And you have to wait forever just for an appointment! So glad you found your "team" and the meds are helping.

I'm going to try the ceiling fan "head"! I usually use a rag dipped in Murphy's Oil solution, but need to get up on a chair or stepladder. I've used the magic eraser knockoffs and they work really well. I bought a plastic bucket from Dollar store that was actually made in America! Great video, Linda. Is that little pig on your back counter a butter dish? It's really cute.

My cleaning hack is the Shark Steam & Scrub Mop. That's the one with the spinning pads. I cannot/will not use a mop bucket & mop anymore. I vacuum my floors & then steam mop them. The floor dries in less than a minute. I use it on my tile & wood floors. TIP: Only use distilled water in the steam mop, no matter what the instructions say. I've used tap water in my 1st mop & this hard Houston water clogged it up right quick. Also, if you like Pine Sol/Mrs. Myers or whatever scents, spray a little it on the floor then steam mop.

Robot vacs (with mopping function) on offer. Life changing. Swiffer dusters. Spray mops.

Wish there was a back friendly way to change my bed it's by far my hardest chore. Laundry is no picnic, either.😮😅 I'm going to try using a broom to scrub my tub/shower. Seeing the one you have gave me the idea I could use it with Comet Softscrub.😊

Cleaning is the last thing on my mind! I never did like to clean up a house (but I do). I love to be outside. So when you said you can't get to everything and the world won't stop I'm here to say no truer words were spoken. Enjoyed your hacks and here is one hack I love: no more rugs in the kitchen. I bought comfort "rugs" that you can wipe off when you mop. Heck you can take them outside and hose them off if you want to. Washing rugs and hanging heavy rugs on the clothesline is a thing of the past for me. And about heavy vacuums, this 75 year old now uses the Shark Rocket. It is so light and easy to store.

Thank you for sharing this with us, Linda. I appreciate your candor. You've been so kind to say under comments of mine that you're praying, and I can't thank you enough for that. But, I also want you to know that I have added you and your husband to my prayer journal and pray for you each morning. It has been sad watching my Dad begin his journey through Parkinson's dementia, and I so understand what you're saying about there are good dementia days and not so good ones. The progression of his is fairly slow also, so sometimes, it's not noticed (just as you said) by anyone other than close family. I so appreciate every minute I get to spend with him. Again, thanks for being so open, and you truly are encouraging to anyone watching. Thank you for sharing your heart. God bless.

Thank you. As a tenant, the curse of my life are house inspections where not only do I get to feel judged, but my family's privacy is invaded. I am nursing my daughter who is battling ovarian cancer and the agents don't care at all. As a carer, I, at 72, have become very ill. Today I received the dreaded email about the house inspection, giving me only 2 days notice instead of the regulated 7, so in the morning my day will begin by having to inform my family of the inspection, and fighting the agents to get them to stick to regulations. I have already caught them out lying to me so our relationship is not good. And despite how ill I am, with my son's help, we have to begin. The house was filthy when we moved in, I have been too ill to do anything in 3 months. Its terrifying as where I am in Australia, we still have no grounds evictions. I am afraid I do not have a joyful heart. All I can do is say that God is always bigger than my troubles and try to take comfort in that. Please pray for me to find the strength I need.

My mom used Pine sol. I use a mixture I got off Facebook. It's water, vinegar, lemon juice and Dawn. It's a wonderful all-purpose cleaner. I use it as a toilet cleaner, counter top cleaner and spot cleaner. Love your channel.
