Beautiful model. We saw this car at Nascar after its return from Le Mans back in July 2023 during a special tour. Which they would have replicated the markers and duct tape added to damaged areas.

I got the F1 in silver based on your recommendation. I do quite love it. I've wanted a better 1/18 F1 than the UT model I've had for 25 years, and I am very happy with it.

I would wait until Solido fills the market again with these sought after models, they will reprint.. The same has happened with the Solido F1 GTR in Orange. I held out the crazy almost AA pricing and sure enough, Solido provided new stock to vendors and was able to buy one at the normal price, I will say it only lasted like a week and a half and then disappeared again.

Does it have like the Nissan r89c, the thing that pushes the car up from the ground when I garage ? Idk the name in English sorry

Great video. This might be one of my favorite releases by Top Speed in recent past. I'm usually quite critical of their quality versus the likes of Spark & Minichamps. But they did a spectacular job on this one. Of course worth calling out that I wish they had chose to do the base in a metallic finish like the real thing, and some better decal group choices, but no model is perfect. Other details they really nailed. I opted for the clean version because this one just isn't weathered "enough" for what the actual car looked like post-race, but this is still a decent effort on that front. Keep up the great content, I enjoy your reviews man.

It is a very nice model of a special car, keep in mid there are only 6 Garage 56 participations since its introduction. I really hope in a few years there will be a cheap version of this model in 1/43 scale to fit my collection. (IXO, Bburago, Solido)

Keep in mind that offered price and price sold are 2 different things. I remember a certain and back then new Otto model offered last Christmas in local classified ads for some 350 USD, *final price*. I laughed the guy off. Buying off eBay would let you save 50% in a split second and a little patience (dealers got them a bit later) would save you tons. Some retailers still have them to this day. If someone wants 400$ for a Solido it's usually just that: someone *wants* this much. I know ads hanging there for years.

I'd love to have the news more often! As for the models I'd like to see, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Evo and Silvia from LCD if I'm not mistaken. And the SLR 722 from Polar Master, haven't heard about that one in a while. There's also a couple of exciting announcements from Sterling Scale, a new company from the UK. If their AM V8 Vantage and XJ220 turn out good they'll definitely make a name for themselves.

My favourites are the Pagani Huayra R, the Lambo Revuelto and the Ferrari Purosangue. Autoart is dropping their releases. There are a lot of long-announced models that we don't know anything about, like the Ford F-150 Raptor, the Koenigsegg Jesko, for example. I'd love to see more Ferraris with opening parts instead of the stylised resin model. It would also be nice to see a Bugatti Bolide (higher quality than the Maisto release), Bugatti Tourbillon, from LCD. Autoart is now going 1:64, so... I don't have much hope for future 1:18 releases from them. Keep on with the updates, please! 😄

The silver Huayra Roadster BC is a real spec, however that car has a roofscoop which LCD didn't include. And the matte black Zonda is a Barchetta, also a real spec.

I want the Huayra R from LCD models too, but maybe end of next year before it release. Autoart needs to bring back the Zonda R, prices are too high and people are going nuts for it.

Nice review. Great looking model, loads of detail and openings. Love the purple paint too. I guess these will appreciate in value (or at least hold it in real terms), but also, depending on ow many LCD make, it could ease pressure on the autoart values a bit.

Did you ever look at the looksmart version? Any difference?

Something for you to look for : new Solido KS-R Porsche (i will go for the orange one) I think Werk83 RWB is made in same Solido factory from Bangladesh, that is why it has only opening doors.
