I wish to someday to afford a contrabassoon or a sub contrabassoon, I wish we had one of these at the schools I went to maybe then i would have taken it further then I did. I have always been a bass fan but Over the garden wall got me into the contrabassoon!

Came here after seeing you conduct "Can you Hear the Music" by Ludwig Goranssön. The comments are calling you one of the most amazing and precise conductors they've ever seen. Found your page, and turns out you're also an expert bassonist?? Amazing. How long have you been playing the bassoon? And what would you say the role of a conductor is in an orchestra? I'm new ot studying orchestration and am striving to understand. Anyway thank you for this great music!

Is it just me? Or is his intonation so much better than most others? He has one of the best sounds on contra bassoon that I’ve heard. Certainly the best intonation.
