    kung ako magiging successful na film maker, magtatayo ako ng libreng school about film making :) kahit sino pwede basta desidido maging film maker, yung nasa puso nila, hindi yung gusto lng nila maging film maker para lang kumita, yung katulad ng prinsipyo ko na willing gumastos ng milyon at pagpaguran, maipalabas lang ang movie o ang obra ko, kahit walang kitain! naniniwala ako na maraming aspiring pinoy film maker jan na di nabibigyan ng chance katulad ko.. gusto ko mabago film industry sa pinas, naniniwala ako na film industry ang isa sa pinaka pag asa ng ating bansa upang umunlad at mas makilala pa..

    saan kumukuha ng funds ang prodction companies?

    • @pelikulektura
      @pelikulektura Год назад

      As of 2023, most funding for local productions (mostly for Full length films) come from financiers: investors or film grants (local ex: cinemalaya; int’l ex: Singapore International Film Festival tho right now they’re only funding short films). For other production companies, they partner up and do co-productions with bigger companies or production teams.

    I'm about to graduate in highschool but i'm still contending about the course i'm going to take in college, i'm still confuse for my path and don't know what my passion is...really...pero i have options to what i'm going to take po.. like one of them is in filming po, but idk if BA in film or BA in theater arts cuz i have a lot of story ideas that i want to become as a movie and of course po i don't want it to go in vain...i can edit videos naman po kasi po sometimes that is my position po when where doing video presentations..like editor po ako palagi, but i'm not sure po if my skill is enough and gusto ko din po to be in a movie or series po, so tbh i'm still scared about my future and scared if i might repent or regret to my decisions po that i made. hello! yakap with consent!!! i just wanna tell you that no one can decide your future but you and sometimes it's just as terrifying as it is liberating schools and the courses that you take will be just guides and tools to develop your skills don't be too hard on yourself if you feel like you're not good enough because there is no such thing as "good enough" in this industry regardless of film, theater, corpo, arts, marketing, ads, etc--- they're all the same banana: you deliver what is needed the difference is that you get to choose which one are you willing to explore and learn in order to grow skills can be taught and developed outside of the courses that you take but if you have the opportunity and the privilege to choose the path that you want to pursue --don't hold yourself back in fear of not being "good enough" or fear of regretting your choices in the future wouldn't it be better if you focus on making the most out of your situation and the opportunities that are presented to you? at the end of the day, no one truly knows the future -- we just do what we can and keep moving forward :)

From what I've heard, it mostly focuses on Journalism and stuff. I am also planning on getting Humanitarian Sciences for seniors. Is this a good path to take for me or should I go for another course? Cause Im not a 100% sure yet. Thx

    Hi I am so glad that I heard a lot of good advices from this video of yours. My name is wilson and I wanted to become a good film maker. Please dont be surprise if I will tell you that I am on my late 40's already. But believe me I have this dream of becoming a film director since I was a teenie. Yun lang dahil anak mahirap laki sa hirap at nung time ko UP at mowelfund palang ata ang nag offer ng film studies. So in short I cant make it that time. Until when I am already in my 30's I started to look again for an opportunity na maka pag aral ng film. It was hard to look for school especially I still dont have that much money to spend for it. Somehow There was some chances that came along but again due to you know financial issues Di ko talaga ma priority of course I have to spend money and prioritized the needs of my family. The usual food and shelter and studies of my children. But then again as I grew older the desire of becoming a film maker never subside. Then just last 2019 I have learned about Asia Pacific Film Institute (APFI) where in they offered ala carte of subjects for film. I said to my self this maybe my chance. So with not that big amount of money finally I joined the school. And believe me I did a lot of explaining to do to my wife why I needed this of course her major concerned was still finances. To cut my long story short. There I am sitting that time in a class room chair with a dozen of young film aspirant. I took the subject of Directing 101 basic with Jade Castro as my teacher. It was one of the happiest birthday of my life. I did some projects of course with the help of my young classmates. Obviously I am the oldest student in the class but the guys really supported me and helps me so much then. Then came 2020 I again enrolled. This time to continue it I took the subject of advance Directing 201 under JP Habac. My 2 teachers are both amazing and nice to me. However pandemic strikes and APFI closed then until now I never heard of any plan for the school to operate again. Alam mo sobrang lungkot ko now dahil sa nangyari. I felt like my dreams are fading. However to keep the flame burning for my desire I continue writing stories and screenplays on my laptop and hoping one day I can turn it to film in reality of my dreams. Though I am glad that I got new friends because of the film school. Yun nga lang nothing materializes still on my dream. I have this you tube channel which showcases of my 5 finished film school exercises. Very amature indeed of course. But nevertheless it was my work and I am proud of it. Sana may mangyari pa sa pangarap ko. Sana mabasa mo ang itong letter ko kahit mahaba. This was a release of my lonely heart as a dreamer. I still want to learn and I still believe I can make it... Till here God bless you and you inspired me more I want you to know that. God bless you... thanks.

    I am an incoming 2nd-year college in FEU under the digital cinema track. It was tough for me whether I continue or shift to another course due to practical reasons. I have to think thoroughly of it since my parents are paying a hundred thousand a year, yet there are people I knew who do not and didn't go to film school but are able to create films. I love making films, working behind the scenes, directing, writing stories, and seeing the final product after the post-production--- but yes it's expensive, and I wasn't born with a silver spoon. Now, I am worried that if ever I shifted to another course, there would be no chance that I'd be getting back to film school. That's why I am here, to find answers.
