Shooting film in the countryside with Yashica Mat EM
Hi! Today we're going to see Carpathian Moutains and villages around it! I think that 6x6 medium format perspective was a perfect tool to capture those moments and with 100% mechanical camera I was able to take photos without any worries with rain and wet conditions.

Whats the exact lens on ur leica, i understand that there are several versions of the lens? Can this lens be used on smaller bodys? Lovely pictures, thanks in advance!
Hi! It's Leitz Summicron-R 50mm f/2.0 - I belive it's the 1st version and it can be used with every model with Leica-R mount. Also it's really popular to use with digital through converters :) So the lens is around '78-'82 I belive.

Great pictures and good video! Just got a Yashica Mat and I have to struggle to get the fully exposed roll out from the top chamber. Glad to see your camera just spit it out;) Amazing to see parts of Ukraine that seems untouched by the war. I hope they will get peace and their freedom back soon.

Enjoyed this. XP2 is my favourite b&w film, I regularly shoot it at various speeds on the same film, never lets me down. Absolutely loved the foggy, moody shot.

As another commenter has said, this “ilfocolor” has absolutely nothing to do with the ilford that makes black and white film. It’s just repackaged nc400/nc500 from innoviscoat
Thank You! I was shooting NC500 last year and the film packaging was a bit different (I think can say careless comparing to this one) and film coating looked the same. It’s definetley sth really close, maybe even the same stock!
This film stock has nothing to do with the Ilford we know and love... This is a film stock from Ilford Imaging, which own the rights to rebrand other colour film stocks under the Ilford name (Ilfocolor 400 is likely to be something from Inoviscoat, who manufacture Lomography and ORWO film, hence the similarities). It's why Harman Phoenix was released under the Harman brand instead of the Ilford brand- as Ilford Imaging own the rights to brand colour film, whilst Harman (who own Ilford Photo) do not.
Thank You for this comment! It seems to be true, I was having a small research and results were similar. Last Year I had an opportunity to shoot NC500 and even the film coating were the same.
@@mjozefowski For sure! It's why all proper Ilford products say "Ilford by Harman" on them. Personally I'm not that much of a fan of Inoviscoat products, but I'm going to continue to purchase a roll of their stuff here and there as more colour film options is a good thing. Apparently ORWO NC200 is on the way, which is allegedly "really boring", which is actually a good indication for the quality of the film being high.

I love that you don't shy away from but rather lean into the beauty and eroticism of the male physique. That you're actually an excellent photographer is just icing on the cake. Thank You! @adammissedfocus would You like to tell us, what cable release do You use? :) Some models of TLR Yashica's need to use adapter for shutter release, but 124G don't need it and You can use any shutter release :)

Do you guys process your own film or send it out to a lab?
It depends on a video - pictures in this one were developed in lab excluding Michael’s B&W Foma which he developed by himself at home :) In other Videos I often process C41 at home using Jobo CPE-2 and I’m scanning them on Epson V550. Cheers!
