@jeffwier696 , I love my 61. It's been my daily driver for quite a while. Factory 283 with power glide still in it. It's a perfect daily to me, plus the trips I take in it. (Which I'm on one right now). I'll put 500 miles on it the next 2 days. The 64 was a 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the column. It's now a 305 with the 3 on the tree.

The car survived Dragweek 2023, making its debut then. We'll leave for SickWeek 2024 in about 2 weeks for Jack to kick off this year. We plan to make 3 drag and drives in 2024, along with regular drag races. Thanks for watching and keep your eyes open for more videos soon.

It is stock bottom end LS6. It does not fit under the factory hood. The cam, headers, Mag supercharger were all installed when the car was still new in 2003. Today it currently has just over 9,000 miles on it and lives in a climate controlled garage. Originally the car was just getting a cam package, so a 4.10 gear was installed. Then when the Whipple was installed, you can imagine how useless the factory tires are with the instant power and 6 speed. A fun car to get out every now and then.

Is the blower the whipple 2.9 LS Blower? What hood are you using? How much boost and power? I have a 99 C5, want to go with the 2.9 Whipple and I have heads & boost ish cam and some supporting mods on a factory bottom end.

It’ll be sat in Mark’s 1965 Buick Skylark after a few heat cycles and health check. The 65 is the one we’re putting together for him to take to Sick Week to race in January. He also owns a 68 Skylark with a Tomahawk big block Buick, with a Procharger, we finished up last year.

Thanks Darren! We're fixing to put it through the paces at Dragweek in September. 2 weeks away and during testing we hurt the motor. So we're in thrashing mode now (I'm positive you've been there). Hopefully everything comes together and we successfully finish Dragweek. That's been the goal on building this car.
